I actually like this beer. But then again I like MOST European Lager/Pils. As long as they're fresh. They're all pretty good and resemble one another in some fashion. This is no different then many of the German Lagers I like... Pours perfectly clear and golden, nice frothy head that dissipates to a thin veil but has great lacing. Flavor is refreshing and crisp..kind of in the middle not to bitter, or sweet... just an all around good BEER, nothing more. Quality is decent. I find it funny how so many rate it poorly. I can't stand beer that tries to be something else then what it is. IPAs are just TOO much, and folks liking beer with ABVs above 6% are nutz, or just very juvenile. Beer is a laid back beverage...and it's not wine., It's best, imo, with an ABV of about 5.3%. This beer is a bit on the light side, but on a hot summer day, poured in a glass...you can toss back a few of these and get refreshed without getting hammered. Great beer with food!

1/31/2023 - Crystal clear pale gold, nice white head; The flavor is mild and trying to hide from us; mouthfeel is mild medium; It's doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't taste much at all. Bland

Quality beer, can get it very fresh here. Always in the cooler or walk-in. Pours big lasting white head. Flavor is full of flavor, depths of bread, Hops on back end leave a slight tang/dry finish. Quality.

Aroma: Moderate aromas of earthy, pale bread malt, Yeasty and bread. (4.00)
Flavor: Moderate flavors of pale malt, pale bread malt, yeast. Yeasty and a smooth finish with a mild bitterness. Finishes dry. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation and finishes clean. (4.25)
Compared to Stella Artois 11/2022: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More bready and yeast. Less cracker, lemonflower, and bitterness. Smoother.
Compared to Dos Equis 11/2022: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More bready and yeast. Less spiced and earthy. Smoother.
Overall: Surprisingly pretty good for a Euro Lager. Nice smooth bready and yeast notes. Yet, still drinks dry. I actually preferred it to Stella head-to-head. All around drinks smooth and very nicely. (Rating: 4.03)

Taste like Heineken. Very light skunk taste not much it is in a brown bottle. Think this plain Heineken just labeled different.

Very over rated in my opinion. Just an average tasting lager not much better than Carlsberg to be fair. I only drink it when I have to as no better choices available

My version is actually brewed by Heineken Romania so I'm not sure how different this is from the Italian version...I assume for sure it will be worse, but from experience Heineken are pretty good at ensuring foreign brewed beers are fairly similar to the originals...
Fairly foamy head...looks good and is not too yellow...lots of complex malt aroma coming through, but not much hops.
Taste is bitter for a lager/pilsner. A little flat, not a huge amount of hops coming through. But the malt tastes amazing and the hops is kind of subtle. Overall it's well balanced and complex, but lacks excitement maybe ; )
The Italian version is likely better, I will try to find ; )

The amount of advertising, marketing and promotions in bars made me do a mistake. I tried few times. Maybe I got a bad bottle. Nope, it is just a poorly made beer. It is ok to have a bad beer once in a while, but they advertise it as the best pilsner beer around.

I thought this would be nasty based on the poor ranking but it’s actually not bad. I wouldn’t be buying this by the case but it’s good enough to throw a can or two into a mixed back. Similar to most macros with a bit more flavour. No bitterness.

First Italian lager in years. No sign funky smell. Light gold in color. Very little hop character to speak of, not a Peroni. Decently crisp, no thickness or heaviness on the palate. Nice finish. What I wanted, open the fridge, quickly grab an unoffensive easy drinking lager and enjoy something new. Not bad import at $10 for six pack bottles.

Poured from a 330ml bottle.
Poured a light yellow with a thin , briefly there head , light lacing . Smells of grass and malt and the taste is really mild, it takes a moment to have one . When it happens I tasted light grass and an odd, metallic after taste that was weird considering this came in glass . It's fizzy and somewhat watery mouthfeel contributes to its overall averagness . It's not bad it's just . . . There . Nothing to write home about , a cold one on a hot day might be quite welcome but it's about as average as you can get , and that aftertaste is off putting.

L: Yellow, filtered clear, glossy surface, mildly carbonated.
S: Skunky like a heineken. I never cared for the skunky aroma but it's not going to stop me from enjoying the barley.
T: Good. It's moderate and drinkable. It tastes like barley and hops.
F: Crisp on the tongue, pretty nice actually
O: I like it overall. In my opinion, beer should be simple. Beer is 4 letters and has 4 ingredients, water, barley, hops, and yeast. I think if you have a good beer, you don't need to add any ingredients beyond that. Is it the best beer in the world? No, there isn't even such a thing as a matter of fact. But if I keep it stocked, a couple of guys will come around and keep it rotated for me, so I'm calling this one a winner.

I bought a can at the beer store 500ml at 4.6%.
Poured a 1finger head into glass that quickly disappeared.
Leaving a little bit of a lace as you drink it.
Clear golden color slow carbonation.
Overall an ok lager beer from Italy.
Cheers.
