The aroma is standard Euro lager - not much cereal grain, but there's still plenty of pale malt, and only a touch of noble hops. It's quite characterless, though it's superior to BMC by dint of lacking strong cooked veggie/cotton candy notes. It tastes somewhat similar to what the nose indicated, except the adjuncts are rather prevalent. It opens up with pale malts and a touch of corn, while ending with a touch of cotton candy. The feel is intensely fizzy and a bit sweet. If I didn't know better, I'd say it's beer-flavored club soda!'s a hair better than Peroni, I guess. BUUUUUUUT, it's a bland macro lager that's priced like SNPA. Despite what the nose hinted, it's no better than a Miller Lite or a Yuengling. Actually, it could be a bit worse! Yikes. I think it's mostly fair to write off Italian macro lagers now...

2.15/5: On the lower end of Euro lagers, which is saying something

I'm rating this beer from Tony's in The Magic Kingdom. Ah Disney. Straw colored brew with little head. Light bread malt and slight hop scent. Decent flavor with some spicy hops to start and a good malty base, no adjunct detected. Has some decent carbonation, otherwise a thin brew. Overall, quite decent.

L: pours brilliant gold with streams of rapidly rising bubbles. It produces a 2" white foam cap that lasts 4 minutes.

S: The aroma starts with low malt aromas, low to medium low hop aromas and a clean fermentation character. Swirling the glass chases off most of the skunk to uncover moderate to moderately low grainy malt flavors, a crisp well attenuated finish, light bread crumb, medium low hop bitterness.

T: The beer achieves a fairly even balance between malt and hop flavors and bitterness and has a fairly neutral after taste.

F: It has medium light body and medium high carbonation.

O: This is a light, refreshing beer with no strong flavors.

The best of Italian pilsner. But why?
A 3 fast fade
as expected with no lace shards
S 3.25 as expected. Watery
T 3.5 better than expected. Lemony. Cleansing scrubbing. A bit of corn grain starchiness.
F. 3.5 clean good finish dry. Tingly. More body than adjunct.
O best of Italian pilsner. But why?

330 ml bottle into lager glass, bottled on 6/20/2016. Pours crystal clear pale golden/straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, corn, biscuit, light honey, floral, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, biscuit, light honey, floral, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, corn, biscuit, floral, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a good pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Flavorful with a nice body for the low ABV; never feels thin or watery. A nicely enjoyable offering.

A. Light folden. Fluffy head that quickly disappeared

S: Crispy and Earthly. Somewhat fruity

T: Follows the smell. More bitter than most mega EPL. Taste of alcohol breaking through

M: Somewhat dry. Easy to drink

O: Actually a good EPL. Has a darker and more earthly feeling to it

From notes taken 10/17/16:

Clear straw gold, with white foamy head of moderate retention. NIce splotchy, delicate lacing. Aromas of grain, semi-harsh, with slight grassy and lemony suggestions. Soon mellows to sweeter smell. Much the same on the palate, with addition of balanced floral to soapy hops. Lighter medium body, don’t notice carbonation at first, but let it settle and sudsy tingles gently increase, making for a nice, fluffy, quaffable finish.

Notable hop flavor; moderately bitter; somewhat sweetish notes.
A solidly malty body; Reported all-malt recipe.
Nothing wrong with this beer, and worth a try, if not a case. Since it's an import, you should be able to find better domestic value.

Yellow beer, pale, feint, a mild thin head of white that doesn't retain too well. Aroma, mild grain. Was hoping for some skunk, like the Circle Jerks, "I just want some skunk (skank)."

Taste, mild taste. Lots of carbonation, noble hops, super light body. This beer seems to be all import fees, I dunno why it costs almost $10 a 6 pack. Sweet lager mouthfeel. Maybe its cut with some corn?

12oz can into plastic glass on a flight from Paris to Rome.

A: Clear light golden with two fingers of dense bright white foamy head that slowly faded into lasting collar that held great retention. Rings of soapy lace clung down the sides of the glass.
S: Bright and crisp pale lager nose with spicy and earthy noble hops and crisp, dry, crackery grains. Smells bright, fresh, and very clean. Corn comes through more as the beer warms.
T: Follows the nose with a crisp light pale lager taste of peppery hops and a touch of crackery pale grains. Watery and light overall, but what flavors are there are decent and not offensive. Not overly cereal grain in flavor, but It does have the cornflake thing going on. The can says the ingredients in this are water, malted barely, corn, and hops, so that explains it. I get just a touch of something fruity as well, maybe even banana, probably from the yeast.
M: Very light and watery body but with nice bright carbonation and a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel.
O: Better than some of the macros from the states, but not necessarily something I hope to order again while I'm in Italy. Still, light and crisp, probably easy with a meal, and great on a hot day. More importantly there is nothing offensive in the flavors which can be saying a lot given some of the other beers in this style.

Pours a super basic and flat-looking yellow color, with a pale white head that dissipates nearly immediately. Totally translucent. Almost no scent at all, besides some very basic malt and corn. I'd elaborate a little more on the taste, but there's almost nothing there either. Very sweet and watery, almost none of the flavor you want in a craft beer. Overall, an extremely basic Euro-lager that you should only drink if your only option for buying beer is a convenience store or supermarket.

Appearance - Nothing special here just your every day euro pale lager, It pours a crystal clear wheat color and has a 2 finger foamy white head. The carbonation seems active.

Aroma - pale crackery malts, CORN. light floral hops and a crisp lager yeast smell.

Taste - The taste of corn is the predominant taste here, followed by light floraly spicey hops and some cracker malts. Honestly its not bad for a macro lager.

Feel - Light and watery with prickly carbonation, pretty much the norm.

Overall - This is just your normal EPL with a slight spice from the hops. Not bad for what it is but not something I would go chasing after either. Cheers!

330 ml bottle (exp. 12/2016), in a pilsner glass. Yellow to straw liquid, clear and with lots of carbonation going up and keeping alive a thin layer of white foam, which leaves no laces. Nice aroma of grassy hops. Along with some bread and crackers notes from malts, taste has the presence of corn, one of this beer ingredients. Sometimes this corn note shows on nose, but much more on taste. Not much sweetness. Light body and refreshing mouth feel. It has lots of carbonation but still it isn't overwhelming for the style.

Italian flair doesn't show up in this beer. Bog standard Euro Pale Lager with barely medium malt/hop presence. Serve with pizza I suppose. If the locals like this they might like Miller High Life as well.

Making spaghetti, pour a Moretti. Overall, there is not much to distinguish this from the majority of Euro lagers available on this side of the ocean. This sample from from a can, which contributed to some "off" odours. Overall, this reminded me why I rarely indulge in this style of beer.

Clear, inoffensive euro lager. More malty flavor than Peroni and Stella. Doesn't have the strong sulfite flavor of Oeroni (which is fairly clean and controlled in Peroni). In the middle between euro lager and an full flavor american adjunct.

Had most recently at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, poured from 330 ml. bottle, into clear plastic water cup. Served cold in an airport in France, this suffices for beer. Au revoir, la mauvaise bière.

A white one finger head that dissipates quickly, not a bad colour, maybe a bit too many bubbles happening. Muted malts and corn smell. Taste lets down even the meager scent as it was very watery with faint malts and hops present if you concentrate. Feels crisp and cool going down but as it looks, too much carb. Overall nothing special.

Had this beer in a peroni pint at a local bar in a Roman neighborhood whose name escape me. This beer was skunky, with a mouthfeel similar to what i imagine formaldehyde feels like. I remember trying so hard not to make a bitter beer face. Despite all that, i tried Birra Moretti in my beer drinking infancy, so will refrain from judging it too harshly.

Got a can in Canada. Poured into a pint glass.

Pours a small yet strong head that took a little bit of time to dissipate. Lots of carbonation bubbles. Very clear yellow tint.

Upon pouring the smell of malts is overwhelming, some notes of apple.

Taste was very quickly disappointing, never reaching the plateau of what a fresh beer should taste like. Very skunky tasting. Metallic, malts, and corn throughout. Kind of like a skunky Budweiser.

Mouth feel isn't too bad overall, but a little metallic, but crisp. Refreshing.

Bright pale straw color with moderate activity. Slightly foamy white 2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, making average legs. Flavors of skunk, sweet grains, faint corn, noble spices. Lots of sweetness but not too heavy, a little bitter with lots of sharpness. Slick medium body, quite smooth, with excessive prickly carbonation. Light finish with a faint mouthfeel of grassy bitter hops and sweet roasted malts. Overall this one is almost average quality being a little better than most euro pale lager, and the adjunct feel is very subtle. Very light, although fresh, and the body is not too bad. Drinkable on a hot summer day.

Pours a straw colored hue with a large, foamy head. Looks light and easy to drink. For the most part it is with a forgettable taste that doesn't linger too long. The taste itself is bitter and bready that seems to be a characteristic of inexpensive, light beers. Not really my type of beer.

Poured from an 11.2 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, there is no "best by" date that I can find.

APPEARANCE: pours a clear golden color with less than one-finger white head that quickly dissipated until just a ring of small bubbles remained around the glass, medium carbonation, no lacing present.

SMELL: sweet honey, bread, grass, faint to the nose.

TASTE: initially sweet honey and bread then a mild hop profile, finishes clean.

PALATE: lighter body, medium carbonation.

OVERALL: this is an inoffensive lawnmower beer, for the price I would not seek it out again as there are better and cheaper domestic beers available.

Pale gold with no head. Sweet, grainy smell with a chemical backdrop. Overly sweet, otherwise bland flavour saved a little by an effervescent mouthfeel and a dry finish. Overall, not much of anything.
