Very light, but good.

I don't find this to be as bad as others make it out to be. It pours a straw yellow with some head and decent lace. Malt aroma. Mostly grainy taste with some hop. Smooth, clean and refreshing. Not the best but I would take it every now and then.

330ml bottle, poured into Moretti glass.

A: Golden, darker than standard Euro lagers, clear, small head.

S: Burnt toffee, slight hint of Saaz hop.

T: Lots of charcoal, burnt toffee, hints of wheat.

M: Crisp, well carbonated.

O: Looked like apale Euro lager, but tasted more like a Vienna style lager.

Bottle of Birra Moretti European Pale Lager, 4.60%ABV

A respectable European pale lager that comes in a lovely looking bottle. The “Moretti” logo, of a traditional Italian countryman about to enjoy a big frothing glass of beer, stands out indicating that this beer is stylish and eager to be enjoyed.

Appearance is a pale, straw yellow colour that when poured produces a nice thick white head with good retention and with decent lacing. A fine-looking clear lager

The aroma has a rustic smell of lightly toasted barley, and some grassy hops, which gave a very pleasant and balanced smell.

The taste was crisp and clean. having a light honey and mild malt flavour with a fair hop bitter aftertaste at the end.

This beer is easy to drink, a balanced and smooth taste that goes down well. Moretti is a good lager that goes especially well with Italian food (naturally!).

Looks identical to Peroni Nastro Azzuro. Pale, straw, fluffy white head, little bubble.
Nose is restrained... touch of light malt, hint of bread.
Uninteresting palate...flattish, light, falls away. Not much hop profile... just malty water IMHO.
Not recommended.

L - Poured a pale gold with a thing head and no lacing.

S - The smell is a herb and hops mixture, with a crisp citrus undertone.

T - The taste is quite subtle but not bad, its quite smokey with hints of hops and wheat,

M&D - Good consistency, maybe a little thin, the level of carbonation is good in the mouth.

Overall an average beer.... Not much else to say.

flavorless and fizzy perfect beer for the Italian summer. No off flavors or weird sweetness to it. I rate it highly because i think it serves it purpose well.

Pours a super basic and flat-looking yellow color, with a pale white head that dissipates nearly immediately. Totally translucent. Almost no scent at all, besides some very basic malt and corn. I'd elaborate a little more on the taste, but there's almost nothing there either. Very sweet and watery, almost none of the flavor you want in a craft beer. Overall, an extremely basic Euro-lager that you should only drink if your only option for buying beer is a convenience store or supermarket.

A: A fast pour into a pilsner glass shows clear gold beer body with a white head that vanishes right away.

S: Smells like beer scented beer. A little sweetness, fresh hops, and fresh cut grass. Not too much else here.

T: Clean with some light lime notes. Clean, light hops and harvest grains. Light on flavor, big on thirst quenching.

M: The best thing about this. It's nice and light with some bubbles to keep it company. This is an easy drinker; I had finished half of it before I even realized I started drinking it.

O: A pedestrian, non challenging, non threatening beer. This is great for the masses who would like a weaker tasting beverage. This beer would go acceptably well with most foods. I probably won't look for Moretti again, but if I was handed one, I wouldn't turn my nose up at it either.

Presentation is a 12 oz. brown bottle.

The color is a clear sandy yellow. It pours a sizeable frothy head which it retains nicely.

A light floral hop smell is present. Grassy, with faint citrus notes as well. Far less skunky than one might anticipate.

I'd have to say the taste is closer to its American counterparts than most euro lagers.

Decent as far as drinkability is concerned. Not bad overall but certainly not a must.

12oz bottle into pint glass.

Crystal clear pale hay color with a thin white head.

Very light barley malt and aroma. Twangy malt flavors with not much else. Watery, thin bodied, and fizzy. The finish is clean with a little bit of lingering grain.

This is a pretty uninspiring beer. Within its style, it's fine, but I just can't get behind this beer.
