From Hipercor. In Teku glass. After dinner. A bit better than average lager. Soft, without an agressive bitterness. Very drinkable and refreshing

L: Dark gold with a thin, white, foamy head that lasts. Perfectly clear. Lots of carbonation.

S: Some grainy aroma. Not much to speak of. Nothing inviting.

T: Sweet, malty.

F: Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation.

O: A pretty generic lager. Albeit with above average feel.

660ml Bottle poured into a pint glass.

Look) As I poured the beer I was disappointed at the lack of a head formation. Towards the end there was a very minute foam which disappeared almost immediately. The colour was a very clear gold. The carbonation is very apparent. Nothing special here at all, but I have seen worse.

Smell) A very weak grassy smell with a sutble grainy touch, though this was after much agitation, very poor scent.

Taste) A watery, simplistic flavour profile, matches the smell exactly, though with a touch of sweetness towards the end. again very poor.

Feel) A bit too carbonated for my liking, but not the worst I've had. very light on the palette and quite smooth. Probably its strongest characteristic overall.

Overall) Another "cookie-cutter" Beer, nothing special at all, Most suited to a BBQ with family when people aren't focusing on quality. Other than this I would never recommend this beer.

330 ml bottle, poured into a tall glass.

Actually better than expected, good enough to wash down some tasty curry.

Pale gold, slight sweet and grainy.

Come in BA'rs, this beer is way better than it purports to be! I found this to be a pleasant alternative to the highly lousy Kingfisher or Tiger alternatives offered at a fine Infian establishment west of London. Yeah, it's cheap and you can buy it at Aldi, but it's got a nice color (a highly subjective rating characteristic annyway), is very smooth with a sweet malt backbone, and tastes pretty OK. So good I even had another to celebrate the occasion - my 1,000th beer rated on BA!!! (Had a Black Tuesday planned for the momentous occasion, but timing, circumstances and life got in the way...!)

Poured it into my glass and it was stupidly flat. Not a bubble of carbonation in sight. Dont know if it was just my bottle or this is the norm. The taste was like flat stale old draught lager.
