Devassa India was my favorite of the litter. It was copper clear in color and came with a big Chopp head that retained throughout the drink. The nose carried some English hop, but nothing fancy. The taste was a fuller bodied ale with some hop. This beer is similar to a Bass family and was pretty good tasting. definitely a hop presence which made the beer quite nice to drink. The mouthfeel was a little tough due to the 5.8% ABV. Great beer for Brazil.

(Served in a plastic cup)
A- This beer pours a deep slightly hazy brown body with a thick beige head supported by a gentle carbonation

S- This soft clean lager has a slight sulfury lemon note to the finish.

T- The sulfury dry green lemon flavor has a hop quality to it with a stronger field corn flavor in the finish.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a scrubbing fizz in the finish with no alcohol heat noticed.

O- This is a bit of a odd brown lager that is bland with an odd lemon hops. I had no idea it was considered an IPA until I check BA.

On tap at a satellite bar located inside Guarulhos International Airport, on to the beer:

I was told this beer was very strong, but that's not what I thought. Deep reddish amber in color. The head is very froathy and creamy on top, typical for a draft beer in Brazil. Not much in the aroma, some bread crust and tough to make out fruity esters is all I got. Taste...some esters at first, but the body is huge on this beer, which seems to work against this beer...the flavors don't really jump out. There is a hint of caramel, the aftertaste follows with a burnt sugar note, but I can't find much in the way of hops.

Nothing off in the flavor, but nothing exciting either. An average beer with an IPA label and a big body is all you get here. Still, this is decent.

Nice appearance, clear dark amber color, it made a good thick head with a medium retention and leaving marks in the glass.
From here is downside hill. Very faint aroma, notes of flowers.
Light taste of malt and cereals with a hint of herbal and floral hops and caramel. Aftertaste is a bit dry and more malty (though still light) than bitter.
Body couldn’t be lighter. Low carbonation with small bubbles.
A shadow of what an English Pale Ale should be (and definitely not an IPA as stated). If you want to look at the bright side, it is better than the traditional local pilsen chopp.

A - Poured with a clear, golden brown body and a nice, white head of foam that leaves thick lace.

S - An aroma of sweet pils malt and some light hops.

T - Sweet pilsner malt up front with some herbal hops. There isn't much to mark this as an IPA of any kind.

M - Medium body moderate carbonation, and a slightly sweet finish.

D - This isn't a bad beer but its a very strange IPA, more like a pilsner or Kolsch.
