A: Soapy but very even head. half finger. cloudy, slightly dark apricot, puffs of carbonation rising from the center,
S: Apricoty indeed, very heavy on the dried apricots. Cut with a creamy sweet yeast. Not your traditional witbier.
T: This is not a witbier. Maybe they put the wrong label on the bottle or they have a pretty strange idea of what a witbier is. I would say this is more in the blonde category. It's quite tasty. Nothing offensive. Very solid. I have apricot in my head although the flavor is a bit more abstract than that. slight bitterness, but subtle.
M: Very little carbonation, almost medium body. but not astringent.
O: Quite good. Not a witbier but very nice.

Beer bottle (33cl, 75cl.), tasted in 2003.
Appearance : yellow light color (veiled). with a beautiful and abundant white foam head.
Smell : wheat and citrus aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : slightly tart and fruity.
Drinkability : a good and refreshing beer in the style Witbier.
