Notes from July 24th 2011. exp April 2012

A: Extremely carbonated and difficult to pour. Massive head. Also soapy suds head and loud almost like cereals advertise. Darker than the 5.5% blonde, but similar opaque apricot/sandalwood.
S: Stronger more pungent yeast, apricot and sweeter than the 5.5%
T: Significantly different in flavor. Alcohol not so aparent. Yeast is certainly stronger, apricot sits under a floral quality, also sweeter, honey, certainly had a mead like quality. Better than the 5.5%
M: Bodering on foamy carbonation, mild carbonation, medium body.
O: Good, interesting with a strong yeast flavor.

Poured from the 33cl bottle, 7% ABV. Cloudy, murky orange color with a huge, airy, off-white head. Head falls fairly slow, not too much lace.

Nice aroma of malts with a bit of spice and some pleasant notes from the yeast. Smells like it should be good.

Yep, nice taste. Bit sweet from the malts and nicely spiced. Rather intense flavor, reminds me more if a Triple than a Blonde. Ends with a mild hop bitterness.

Medium bodied with nice carbonation. Rather sharp on the tongue.

Good stuff. Easy to drink and quite refreshing. Try it.

Beer bottle (33cl, 75 cl.), tasted in 2002.

Appearance : golden color, with a beautiful white foam (abundant and persistent).
Smell : yeast and spices aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : biscuity flavours of fine malts and aromatic hops bitterness.
Drinkability : a blond bodied, in the spirit of the great Belgian blond ale.
