Our Lager is made in small batches with Naked Golden Oats and great Scottish pride and exuberance, which give it its full flavour and very smooth finish.
Unusually, as well as our own, unique Lager malt, we have added some Naked Golden Oats to the brew, which impart a satisfying smoothness to the finish.
Naked Golden Oats are grown without husks so that even more goodness and flavour can be extracted during brewing.

smell is fairly bright with some citrus notes, but the flavour is darker, the light notes get a bit lost. aftertaste is mainly bitter, definitely more of a bitter lager, despite smelling closer to something like carona initially. not sure what what the "golden oats" they mention do for the flavour. It's somewhat unique and tastes like they are using quality ingredients, but not my thing. It does make me want to try their other brews as I think some of the features that make the lager a bit unappealing would actually enhance darker brews.

I absolutely love this beer!!! Just a damn good beer. Period. Whether you try the original Scottish Golden Beer, the Caribbean Rum Cask, or Irish Whiskey Cask you are in for a treat. Enjoy my friends. This is the good stuff!!!

This beer is like a hybrid between a light hoppy ale and lager. It's nice and refreshing and doesn't have any bad after-tastes. There is some nice hop subtelty as well.

500 ml can, from Helgø MENY Sola. ABV is 4.6%. Clear and very pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of newmown grass, sweetish hints of candy. Fairly refreshing flavour, a tad on the sweet side, fairly decent herbal hops. Not too bad.

i bought 1 can at the lcbo in Ontario
poured a 1finger head into glass that quickly went away and it
did not leave a lace like most beers do.
tasted a little too sweet for me .
overall an ok lager beer nothing special

This one was a very interesting lager. Tasted like a mix of Helles, Euro lager and an old-school IPA all in one. Bitter, sweet, citrusy, malty, oatmeal-like and aggressively carbonated. Very intriguing, will gladly revisit.
