Very refreshing. Not too sour. I enjoyed the cucumber/melon vibes.

I wouldn’t have tried this beer if I had actually seen the word “cucumber” on the label because while I love melon, I dislike cukes. I’m glad my prejudices were unintentionally put aside. Great summer beer. Light body, flavors not overpowering, adequate and appropriate carbonation. Dings: Zero aroma.

Pours out at hazy yellow. Head is white a little foamy and with moderate retention. Lacing is minimal and splotchy.
Tons of cucumber in the nose blended together with lemon/lime and salt. Smells a lot like pickle juice. Don't know what to make of it. I like pickle juice but i was expecting more of a subtle cucumber smell. ill give it a 3 because it doesn't smell artificial.
Taste like sour cucumber. Straight up with some grainy notes.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and carbonated a bit too much.

I'm a little taken back by this beer. Its interesting. A little too over the top in my opinion. They could have tone the cucumber/pickle down.

im surprised to see this one rated as low as it is, i think its a nice addition to their already solid berliner here, and the cucumber is super natural tasting, not too heavy in here, and with none of that plastic overly pungent perfume aspect some of them get. its both summer and refreshing, and also true to the base beer, which i think is very well done. the sourness is lemony and bright, nice with the earthy vegetal cucumber, which to me tastes both fleshy and peely, some bitterness from it too, a lot more than is in the base beer by itself. i think the cucumber serves to fill a bit of a flavor void in the middle where the very light wheat malt is so minimal, and it lingers the right length into the dry finish. this makes me want to fix up a gin cocktail too, i think the juniper element would work really well with the sour and the cucumber alike. best when ice cold, this didnt warm up super well, but when its well chilled, its refreshing and crushable. lots of character, good use of the cucumber, and a beer that is far better than its ratings i reckon...

A can into snifter appears hazy golden with a white cap a finger tall that holds well fading leaving patchy lace.

The aroma is vibrant with cucumber then a bit of saline character, minerals and soap/chlorine like the base version.

The taste is tart with a fruity to grassy cucumber inclusion. Luckily the mineral and soapy notes noticed in the nose are not present in the taste.

This is light in body and modestly carbonates. A refreshing berliner.

Huge pour from Kent and Co., Fort Worth, TX.

Golden yellow beer color and just a little hazy. No head to speak of.

Tart, cucumbers, it's refreshing.

Tartness up front that transitions to a cool cucumber flavored middle and finishes with a chalky sourness.

Thin and a bit fuzzy.

Very sour and good Berliner that's very flavorful. It tastes kind of like they mixed cucumber water and a sour Berliner Weiss.

Pale, translucent yellow with a thick, foamy head. Smells of cucumber, of course, with hints of grass and apricot. Taste is sharp, tart, more pickle than cucumber, though the aftertaste is milder, like sourdough. Light bodied. Way too tart for me.

Slightly hazy light golden pour with a foamy white one-finger head. Big cucumber and pickle aroma. Nice tart flavor with a big cucumber flavor upfront. Very light flavor and body. Can also taste a bit of grain, lemon and salt. Finishes tart with a lingering cucumber taste.

Pours a mostly clear pale yellow golden color with fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Citrus, lemon zest, cucumber, and tartness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied and refreshing. Finishes with cucumber and lemons.

Poured into tulip from can, yields nice 1 finger head that hangs around for about 2 minutes and recedes to a pool. Pale, hazy light yellow in the glass. Smells pretty much of just lactic sourness, lemon and cucumber, even my wife was impressed with this. Initially tart on the tongue, then the cucumber comes thru. Very nice job getting that profile down here. I can see where some pick up the pickle taste, you have sourness and cucumber together which is pretty much the makings of a pickle, but not getting that on my end. I think this is a great summer beer, too sad it came to houston on the tail end of it. I have some simple syrup I made with jalapenos I am going to try in here later during the week.
