Pours a slightly hazy, golden honey colour. Smells like sweet malts, citrus hops, honey, and pretty dank. Tastes like honeyed biscuits, sweet malts, orange peel and lemon peel hops, pretty dank, yet crisp.

Enjoyed from a can poured in a glass with a top that helps with smelling.
L: weakest point of the beer. Gold slightly hazy body. Solid lacing and head retention. Amazing carbonation.
S: best smelling beer I’ve ever experienced. Extra pine and fruitiness. Slight bubblegum hints and very little citrus hops.
T: follows the nose perfectly and doesn’t disappoint. Fruit and pine again.
F: thick feeling for a light IPA. Smooth finish without being too bitter in the aftertaste.
Overall: best beer I’ve ever had and will recommend to everyone. This brew will not disappoint.

this is a sturdy and high quality ipa, decidedly west coast in the hop complexion, and with just a little bit of english tasting malt to it, its still dry and entirely hop driven, but just with a little more character than a lot of these on the grain side. i love its abv, right where an american ipa should be at its upper limit, and the clarity of the pour from the tap is gorgeous, deep golden to bronze with an inch of almost pure white head, thick and rich looking. the hop profile is great, a mix of old and new complexions, and not all dry hopped either, there is some nice bitterness backing this up in the finish, vegetal, fresh, and citrus rind flavored. i get some possibly australian hops with that tropical fruit and white grape note, more in aroma than flavor, and i get a lot of that west coast hop oily feel, not sweet or sticky, but sort of dank, which i really dig. simple beer aside from the layered hop complexion, easy enough drinking for what it is, and as good at room temperature as it is ice cold. i have been impressed with what little i have had from independence so far.

Gold to copper in color with an inch of off white on top. The aroma is of onions and dankiness. I'm tasting vegetal hops, pine and light malt. The mouth is lightly sticky and chewy.

Pours an effervescent gold with 3+ fingers of pearl colored head. Good head retention & lacing

S: Bready & grassy, some mango

T: Grassy, dry, aspirin bitterness up front, More apsirin like bitterness along with dryness as this warms, slight bready sweetness on the edges, but loses the battle, some tangerine as well. Finishes dry with pomelo & a little aspirin

MF: Medium body, lively carbonation, skews a tad bitter

Drinks alright, but the hops didn't really wow me
