Had on draft at Dinosaur BBQ in Brooklyn New York.

The beer is a clear golden amber with little to no head.

Aroma is more biscuit malt than anything else.

This beer is listed as a pale ale but the intense malt and lack of hops make it fit more in the amber category for me.

Had this on draft.

Murky rusty brown.

No head or lace.

Pear & apple notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel, bordering on thin.

Clove & pear cider in the taste; hint of red wine. Complex yet sessionable.

Cereal grains and blueberry and melon and floral notes in both nose and flavor, tough to know if from hops or yeast esters. Light bodied feel with medium carbonation. Decent but run of the mill light ale.

Poured from draft at the Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse, NY.

A: A nice soft amber with tinges of red. Some head, minimal lacing. Carbonation is apparent.

S: Hoppy and malty but not overly strong. Big citrus notes.

T: Malt body with a hop nose covered in grapefruit and tangy sour bread. Pretty tasty, no lingering bitterness and easy enough to go down after some hearty foods.

M: Balanced and easy, crisp with a nice drinkable feel and noticeable hop twang with some carbonation.

O: Gotta try it when you go to the Dino. Balanced and good, pairs well with a hearty meal.

On tap Dinosaur BBQ in Rochester, NY.

Pours a light golden yellow, with some orange tinges. Half inch head, and only a small amount of lacing.

Smells fairly weak, some malt sweetness, and a bit of fruity hops.

The taste is similar. It doesn't necessarily taste bad, it's just boring. Herbal hop character, a bit floral, with some fruity yeastiness that is quite common in Middle Ages beers. A bit of caramel malt sweetness.

Light bodied, crisp, dry mouthfeel, medium carbonation, pretty drinkable.

This is ok, but I probably won't get it again.
