Red Racer Pils is brewed in the classic Bavarian tradition, using only the finest two-row barley and hops from the Hallertau region of Germany. This light and golden Pilsner has a distinct hop aroma and flavour with a dry, crisp finish.

500ml can poured into tulip.

Pours a bright, clear yellow with one finger of sudsy white head that leaves sheets of distant mountain range lace as it recedes.

Smells of unsweetened cereal grain, crisp apple, faint lemon peel and grassy noble hops.

Tastes of crackery pale malt, apple skin, more lemony freshness and more green grassy hops.

Feels light and zippy. Light bodied with prickly carbonation. Finishes dry.

Verdict: Recommended. A touch light on the hops, but easy to drink, refreshing and tasty.

Straw filtered with moderate carbonation and 6 fingers of white head.

Smells of straw, hay, hints of malt, and children's aspirin.

The taste follows the nose, then adds a tropical fruit and pine quality the ups the anti and makes it West Coast.

Medium body, and medium carbonation.

Got at LCBO, drinking in Muskoka, March 7th, 2018. Excellent Pils.

Really good smooth pilsner with character. Looking forward to getting this more often, brewed 20 mins from me. Little hoppy too.

Can - pour a protein-hazed pale straw color with an ample 2 finger rocky white cap which laces well, Aroma is floral-spice over biscuity Pils malts. Bright sharp character with a good hop bite. Starts biscuity with grassy-spice hop balance then goes to a clean crisp increasingly bitter finish with a hop bite at the end. Very serviceable domestic craft Pilsener refreshing and sessionable

Very bright dark straw color, almost gold, with light pearly activity. Thin foamy bubbly white 3 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with poor legs. Flavors of light caramel and corn, lemon, lager yeast, sweet grains and herbal hops. Slick full body with prickly carbonation, a little crispy. Light to medium strength finish, grains and cereal, quality corn feel thats not too "wet", a bit citrusy with dominant barley and a hint of straw. American interpretation, more leafy than floral, makes it slightly less complex compared to euro versions but more intense flavors. So the intensity is nice. Still highly accessible and quite fresh. Good balance with the sugars and bitterness. Overall high quality craft.

Serving Type: 473 mL "Pils for Autism" Can poured into a Pint glass

L- Pours a nice deep golden colour, topped by a 1 1/2 finger foamy white head. A fair amount of sticky lacing. Good head retention

S- Grain, apple, slightly "dank" scent typical of Saaz hops.

T- Same as the smell. All flavours typical of a well made Czech Pils.

F- Light body and moderate carbonation; exactly what I look for in a quality Pilsner.

O- A solid Pilsner that could go head to head with any of the big Czech Made brews. Clean and crisp feel and flavours/aromas.

A: Transparent pale yellow and a frothy white head.

S: Smells like a lager! (As far as I know) Some hints of apple and grainy maltiness.

T: Not at all bold, it's close to being watery. It's clean and slightly crisp. Nearly no bitterness but not sweet either and has a light aftertaste. The flavour is very similar to the smell, a bit of apple and a slightly toasty grainy maltiness, not very deep or complex.

F: Medium carbonation. Smooth but not too thin or light. Leaves a bit of a coating in your mouth.

O: Extremely drinkable pilsner. very sessionable. The flavour is nowhere near as bold or complex as their IPA so don't buy it for that. Quite refreshing without being water.

Very tasty and highly drinkable pilsener fron central city. Previously have only tried the ales from this brewer. Crisp on the palette and zero aftertaste. Refreshing summer brew. Canned from the LCBO.

From a 473ml can served at 8 Celsius into a shaker pint.

Appearance: The look is sadly one of the highlights of this beer. It pours a clear straw to pale gold with 1cm of foamy, white head that settles into a cap in less than two minutes. No lacing in a beer-clean glass.

Aroma: The faintest of pale malts (honey) and grassy hops. I poured some of the beer into a Glencairn glass to get a sense for the smell.

Taste: Characterless and watery... faint pale malts. I wish had more to say.

Mouthfeel: Light body with moderate carbonation. The prickly sensation is the best part of this brew. I like them prickles.

Overall: In a word, characterless. I would rather spend my money on sparkling water to quench my thirst. The few points this beer deserves come from the fact that it has no off-flavours. It's clean and that counts for something. The most satisfying part is the mouthfeel. Crushable? Sure, but that's not why I drink beer.
