Even though I’ve grown to not like wheat ales, this one is super refreshing with a surprisingly citrusy streak that keeps it from tasting like typical banana beer. almost a lemon Shandy taste, which would be awesome on a hot day

I've had this one a few times, and I keep coming back. Doesn't sit heavy like some wheats, not overpowering on the orange flavor, sweetness doesn't turn you away. Great aroma and look.

On tap as part of a discounted flight. Sample glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with slim faint yellow hues arranging themselves in and out on the body. Light carbonation was somewhat seen rising. The smell had the blood orange up front and didn’t really allow much else there. The taste was mainly orange fruity sweet. Strong orange aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation comes across pretty strong. Overall, not a hefeweizen, no qualities of a true one exists in this beer.

Trying the Blood Thirsty at the brewery. It poured a cloudy pear color with no head and no lace. The scent had waifs of tangerine. The taste was fruity with grain. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's an interesting beer and worth a try.

Cloudy and as the name implies a color similar to blood orange. This is a step up from Blue Moon, but overall it's not too exciting. Citrus/orange taste through and through but not much of anything else. A good fit for a hot, summer day but not something I would drink regularly. Honestly, probably not something I would drink much on a hot, summer day either.
