"Robert Doms Bogemskiy"

On-draught at White Lion in Lviv, Ukraine in Spring 2016.

Pours a 2cm white cap that takes 3 minutes to recede, as well as a clear copper body of above average vibrance. No yeast is visible.

Sm: Pale malts suggest heightened sweetness, with generic floral hops in there too.

T: Too sweet; imbalanced. Generic pale lager build. Pale malts and floral hops, but no adjuncts (luckily).

Mf: Smooth, wet, artificial, unrefreshing.

O: Drinkable but underwhelming.

Poured from a 16.9 OZ bottle into a pint glass. This brew pours a crystal clear yellow with a small white head. The taste is a watery grain and corn flavor. Overall, this is an average beer.

The entire label is in Cyrillic aside from a tiny govt warning label that also mentions the abv and "Bohemia-style beer". Although Bohemian malt was listed as an ingredient, this is a pretty standard Euro lager.

Bright saturated gold, initial finger or so of foam. Not much lace, steady rising bubbles.

Nondescript wet grainy aroma, bread, crackers. Nothing in the way of noble hops or anything really.

Taste is much better than the aroma let on, clean crackery pils malt dominates. Clean dry finish with a light minimal hint of sweetness at first. Light bodied with moderate carbonation, it's actually pretty drinkable with no off flavors.
