More than happy to have found a slab of this (20 x450ml) at a small suburban bottle shop
European Lager that is not contract brewed in Australia is difficult to find , so I was just a little excited to give it a whirl
I was not disappointed
A more than satisfactory lager
Malty crisp and refreshing
Nothing more was asked from it and I was a happy man

Pours gem clear and pale gold in a Pretentious Glass Company dimpled mug. Occasional bubbles of medium size carbonation reinforce one and a half inches of dense white head. The head holds for a minute before collapsing to a thick blanket, leaving a curtain of lace behind.

The aroma has distinct notes of wet cardboard and skunkiness. This said, the grain bill is more present than I had expected it to be.

Mild bitterness and sweetness are balanced. Cooked corn is prominent, while there is no sensation of hops. The finish is mild and effectively non-existent.

It has a medium to full body and a slick texture. Alcohol is absent, while the carbonation is far softer than anticipated from the appearance. It has a strong, mineral quality.

This is a decent macro beer, reminiscent in many ways of Heineken. I enjoyed it after a long day and before dinner. My thanks to Dave for finding this one.

Poured from 15.2oz green bottle into my 8th Wonder chalice — I’m guessing this is really 450mL.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body, a light effervescence, and a thin layer of ivory foam atop. Not bad.

Smell: classic European pale lager aroma of a very-slightly-corny malt and just a hint of skunk from the green bottle. I bet it’s better off the tap, but overall I suppose you could do worse.

Taste: sweet malt with a slightly grainy, perhaps even slightly corny aspect. It’s actually not too bad for the style, even if it is overall not super special. It does pack in some good flavor for a relatively light 4.7% beer.

Mouthfeel: medium carbonation with a reasonable carbonation and creaminess for the style. You really could do a lot worse.

Overall: of course, these-a-days we’re supporting Ukraine any way we can, including buying their beer. I gotta say, though, even if this is not the best Euro pale lager out there, it’s competent and entirely drinkable.

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, light golden color with a moderate white head. SRM of 6. (3.75)

Aroma: Strong skunky aromas upfront. Underneath there is golden and crisp pale palts and some hints of european hops. (3.50)

Flavor: Moderate flavors of pale malts, bread malts, some light honey and floral notes. All of this is encompassed in a light-struck and skunky flavor. Smooth balanced finish. (3.75)

Feel: Medium-body, average carbonation. Smooth finish. (4.00)

Overall: When I saw it was from Ukraine I had to pick it up and give it a try.. Apparently the recipe is 30 years old. Nice Euro Pale lager flavors. A little cracker, earthy floral notes and honey. It's light struck and skunky, but I'm giving it a pass due to where this beer probably traveled from and all it went through. Very reminiscent of Stella. I'm happy to pay the extra price tag on this one to get to try a beer from and possibly support Ukraine. (Rating: 3.72)

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a somewhat fizzy, one finger white head that dissipates to a thin film with nice lacing. Aroma of light breadyand mildly grainy malt, lemon, some skunking; moderate grassy and lightly floral hops. Flavor follows, with lightly grainy and bready malt, grassy and lightly floral hops and faint citrus. A mild sweetness that is reminiscent of corn in adjunct lager, but probably not used here. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I got a bottle in solidarity with the Ukraine and realized I had never had a Ukrainian brew before. The profile is fairly classic European pale lager, but with hints of corn sweetness, a deeper and more grainy malt body, nice mouth feel for the style. The hops are typical continental profile, but with a nice mild floral character. I thought this was one of the better examples of the style. A bit of expected skunkiness from the green bottle was a bit of a flaw, but is sadly typical of both European and Asian lagers. Better than expected and enjoyable. Not sure why the ratings are so low for this one. Despite its greeness, a classy looking bottle with a incuse lion in the bottle and dramatic looking labels.

15.2 oz bottle into a Becher glass.
L: Pours light caramel gold with large steady carbo bubbles, a 1" creamy domed white head with VG retention, light scattered lacing.
S: Grassy hops, lightly floral, a hint of pastry dough.
T: Gently sweet malts, grass, traditional Euro Lager hops, very subtle fruit, lightly floral and slightly pale.
F: Fairly smooth medium body with a smooth mid section and a medium-length non-drying finish.
O: A tasty European Lager that is gently sweet and is very easy drinking. Would pair nicely with spicy foods and grilled meats. Pretty smooth overall. It is good in its style.

Clear, pale gold appearance with a large white head and good lacing. Bready aroma mixed with a bit of floral hops. Taste is sweet malt up front while the hops become more noticeable nearer the finish. Smooth, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Really not bad at all compared to some Eastern European pale lagers I've come across. My sampling was from a can that hit my local package shop just recently, with no perceivable skunkiness.

From a 450 ml. green bottle stamped 09112219222. Sampled May 26, 2023.

Out of green bottle into the glass it is a bright golden-yellow color with a big, lacing-leaving cream colored head.

The aroma expresses white bread, crackers, mashed barley, boiled potato, and grass,

The mouthfeel is medium and quite smooth.

The taste is sweet and bready mostly with a quaint wisp of floral or grassy hops finishing it off. An easy drinking lawnmower Euro-lager.

Interestingly shaped bottle, 15.2oz @ 4.7 ABV. Slava Ukrania or whatever, I guess...

Standard kind of look, smells skunky with that weird Euro cookie dough scent that I hate. Sweet grain, cookie dough, grass, inoffensive. Too sweet and skunked a bit, but I knew what I was getting into. Decent baseball watching beer

15.2oz green bottle Lot NR 1882210222 poured into a shaker pint glass at fridge temp 4.7 % ABV. The beer very bright light golden amber with nearly white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and island leaving behind some lacing. The aroma is mild with plenty of skunk and a hint of malt. The taste is semisweet malt with a sulfur or mineral twinge and some floral hops. Minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, ok. This beer was purchased at room temperature from a well lit top shelf so I fully expected it to rough. I suspect this would have been enjoyable packaged differently as it seems well made.
