24 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 7/16/2018. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit too fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Solid robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Nicely clean on lager flavors, not overly fruity. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly bready/grainy, and lightly sticky hop mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin, but not watery finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a decent pale adjunct lager style. Solidly flavorful for the ABV. Nice clean malt/grains and decent earthy hop balance. Was a bit too heavy on the corn, but definitely enjoyable for the style.

Clarity is excellent. Golden straw color with lots of bubbles. Nice head of creamy off white foam that lasted well. Practically no nose. Low malty presence on the nose that becomes more grainy as it warms. Faint hint of dms. No hops presence on the nose at all. Light fruity ester from yeast. No diacetyl. Taste is light and I mean thin. Light corn sweetness. It has low malty flavor, some dms, a little bite from bubble and low to no hops presence on the palate. There is a good balance and a finishing bitterness. This malt is crisp and very thin. No diacetyl.

Clear, straw appearance with thick, white, bubbly head. Mild aroma of corn husks with a slight breadiness. Flavor is very light. Corn taste and not much else. Nothing offensive. Watery mouthfeel. Smooth, crisp finish. Slightly sweet. Overall: A very drinkable beer. Nothing bad about it, but also nothing memorable about it either. Good beer for a hot day when you're looking to pound a few.

This is one of them brews one has after a hard day or night of reality work; what's left in the 'fridge after your brother left a few there, a few weeks ago; what you maybe be able to afford to buy, "when you're broke and outta work." A fair, solid, drinkable brew.

lwaukee Best pours to a clear yellow. the smell is nothing new to me just your typical of cook vegetables and grains . It does not bother me! Taste like a typical american lager grains and malts. The hops are their to balance the beer out . It has very tiny taste of cardboard if warm but other the that milkwaulees best can hold its own against high price Budwesier , MGD. Your typical american lager with out the price tags. It is the lowest price beer in most market in the country You can take the label off Milwaukee Best Premium beer an put a Coors or MGD label on this beer and 99 percent of the people would not know they would be drinking a cheap beer. This beer is excellent for what it is american adjunct lager. I rate Milwukee Best Preuim with other maerican adjunct lagers an apples with apples rating . Meaning I rate Milwaukee best Preuim with other american lager . IThis beer beats out 95 percent of american lagers out their on the market specially Mexical lagers with their high price . Milkwaulee Best Premium is the best value on market for taste , price and quality.

I used to drink this in high school when it first came out and good thing I didn't know any better. It is still one of the weakest tasting beers out there. It is cheap so if your beer budget is $10 per month this might be the beer for you.

32 oz. can:

Pours golden with a short-lived head. Little to no lacing.

The smell is faint. Nothing really. Barely even a generic "beer" aroma.

The taste is of very light, watered down bread. Not too sweet. No bitterness. Nothing really. Abrupt watery finish.

It is as refreshing as cool, crisp water. Typical cheap beer water quality.

It's a cheap beer. There are better cheap beers. There are worse. Inoffensive as a whole.

A friend/neighbor gave this to me today. For the price I paid, not terrible. For the price it goes for...could be worse.

I really thought I had reviewed this when I lived in Milwaukee. Guess I never put the review in.

I am drinking the 3.2 abw (4.0 abv) version of Milwaukee’s best, due to Oklahoma laws. It’s a cheaper macro beer so it is, what it is. It tastes sweeter than other cheap macros. Other than that it’s just a run of the mill macro American style lager. If you are on a budget and want to try something other than Keystone or Busch, give it a drink!

Poured from giant can into giant pils glass. Crystal-clear straw color with a fee fingers of soft, white head that dissolves quickly. No lacing. Sweet aroma, some grain, some grass. Surprisingly full flavor, not what I was expecting. Can this be the same beer I pounded as an undergrad years and years ago? Sweet bread and grain with some grassy hop notes. Thin feel. Much better than a few other cheap AALs out there in my opinion.

Okay this is cheap beer, but it is what it is. I got this for around 9 bucks a case. Drink it AFTER you have a few or more good beers and it's not that bad. Wait until your taste buds are insensitive. Yes, it's pretty nasty.

considering the low rating this beer has, I was prepared for some awful beer like steel reserve. I was quite shocked that this is a solid, refreshing beer. Maybe a little rougher, with not quite a clean a finish than Budweiser, but hey, its half the price of comparable beers, and better than a PBR or high life. Considering the price and taste, this deserves a 5 rating

Pours a nice golden color with a nice head that lingers. Smells quite putrid like most other adjunct lagers. Goes down smooth, but a little bitter on the palate. Not much flavor but not bad either. Overall not bad for a adjunct lager.

Geezer beer.

Being a geezer myself, I know whereof I speak. Sometimes I think Miller has a basic beer that is packaged and sold under different labels for those of us who tend to buy "our brand" over and over. Nothing wrong with this package, light color, flavor, clean fizzy beer for when you want to drink a beer without analyzing it.

Buy when it's on sale which happens often.

Poured from 12 oz can into shaker glass. A 2"+ bubbly white head falls at a moderate pace with some mild lacing. Color is pale straw with abundant streaming carbonation. Aroma barley malt and cereal grain. Mouthfeel is light, slightly papery with a dry finish. Flavor is mild combination of lightly toasted malt, a little corn sweetness, maybe a hint of hops. Overall: it is ok beer for having while watching a game or having a burger...and it is very inexpensive. But flavor is just lacking.

12 oz can. $16.74 for a 30 pack of cans at Walmart.

Appearance
Small head that dissipates quickly. Minimal lacing. Light golden, yellowish body. Moderate but lively carbonation. Looks like a typical American Adjunct Lager.

Aroma
Clean. Mild maltiness. White bread.

Taste
Mild sweet maltiness. Light dry corn flavor. Very clean and smooth. Mild balancing hops. The taste is good. For a cheap, lighter style adjunct lager this is good. The malt flavor is nice. The corn flavor is subdued. The hops are very mild but there. Hard to find a better tasting beer at this price point. Much better than many other lagers that cost more. Clean. Nothing off.

Mouthfeel
Well carbonated but still soft on the palate and easy to drink. Light bodied. Very clean and smooth. A great hot weather beer.

Overall
A great "cheap beer". Light and smooth. Good beer flavor for the style and price point. 12 oz cans are the way to go. Buy fresh. Serve ICE COLD. Pour out into a frosty mug and enjoy! This is a no nonsense old school lager. It is clean and refreshing at a great price. The taste is very good because you can taste the malt and the hops are very light but decent. The corn tastes good without being too astringent. For a light bodied adjunct lager this is a great brew. Very consistent. Ice cold goodness.

[Old Review from June 2014:
32oz can. $1.99 at the local beer convenience store.

Appearance
Large foamy white head that dissipates quickly. Light lacing. Very light golden body. Crystal clear. Light carbonation.

Smell
Starts out harsh and astringent. After the beer settles for a minute or two the smell improves. Corn and malted barley.

Taste
A slightly watered down, more light bodied version of Miller High Life. Corn and malted barley. The barley flavor is quite nice, but you have to get through the corn to taste it. There is a sweetness to this beer. Hops are light. They are detectable as a balancing bitterness on the back end. The hops balance the sweetness and corn/barley nicely. There is a slight astringency/harshness to this beer that is best masked by COLD TEMPERATURE. However overall this is a fairly well balanced, smooth, drinkable beer. Actually TASTES GOOD.

Mouthfeel
Light bodied. Carbonation is strong on the tongue.

Overall
This is a somewhat harsh, but tasty economy macro lager. Miller goes too heavy with the corn every time. That being said, I still like this beer and would drink it again. Tasty. Has potential. Good value. Not the highest quality.]

A: Extremely pale coming out of the can. Sloppy pour into a glass produced frothy bubbles but faded to nothing fast. I've seen Coca-cola with longer lasting head.

S: Nothing noteworthy. No discernible hops. No malts. No skunkiness. Nothing. Just a sort of "cheap beer" smell.

T: After experiencing the appearance and smell, I was a little surprised that the flavor profile didn't strictly follow the smell. There is actually a hint of sweetness that can be found through the shallow taste; not maltiness - just a minor sweetness. Not sure what it is.

M&D: Smooth - like water. Not much here. Nothing particularly attractive about this beer accept for the price - and then you still find yourself weighing the pros & cons.

Presentation: 40 oz brown bottle, no freshness date or anything else about the beer on the label.

Appearance: Pale golden straw colour, very clear and bright. Lean white lace skims on the top of the brews.

Smell: Astringent grain and cooked cereal adjuncts are all that are in the aroma. Not very appealing.

Taste: Light bodied with grain and cooked corn flavours. Thin malt flavour with a touch of sweetness, quite weak to say the least. Hops are used up and just there for a processed bitterness. Slight impression of alcohol, graininess gets husky and bitty on the palate. Somewhat dry and still grainy in the finish.

Notes: A very sub-premium lager, you know it is cheap crappy beer when they are selling it for $1.75 for a 40 oz bottle. A bit hard to put down and not very clean … a rough around the edges cheap lager.

This is very cheap, and the taste shows as such. Excessive graininess (corn) gives this a harsh, bitter taste. Lots of carbonation. Very dry, with only a hint of malt aftertaste. The overall taste is of adjuncts and played out crappy ingredients. This is crap beer at it's best.

12 ounce can sampled, yeah now we are livin' large. Only cost me .60 cents in that beer rip off zone known as Grand Central station in NYC (Duane Reade also has Heineken for $1.30 a bottle...)Pours the expected light pissy yellow, medium bubble head, snow white. Nose of corn, very light bodied and quite watery. Next to no malt or hops noted. Crisp and cleansing of the palate, slight metalic note. Only decent on a very hot day

The BEAST! Easily the best of the worst. Pours clear yellow with a big white head. Aroma is metallic and veggie, kind of canned beans. Some B.O. in the nose, and a bit funky in the taste. More veggie and grass, some actual bitter hops, and pale malt. Its bad, but not atrocious
