Okay, so this is a famously cheap, college beer. We mostly drank Beast Light in college but this is essentially the same thing. Pours too light to be called golden. There is a head but it dies to nothing quickly. Nose is grainy adjunct.

Flavor isn't anywhere near good, and is definitely sporting some corn, but doesn't make me quiver with its wretchedness, so that's a plus. Texture is thin and watery but that's really okay. This is made for keggers and tailgating, and for those purposes, it really isn't so awful.

A - they obviously redid the can and I have to say i don't like the changes all that much. It's basic, simple, looks newer i guess.
S - surprisingly big american hop presence - grassy, piney, earthy. Bready malts. Surprisingly good!
T - taste follows the nose. This is a cheap beer for those who actually like the taste of beer. Hop presence is there - mostly grassy and earthy with some piney-ness on there. Bready malt in the background.
M - light mouthfeel, alcohol covered, aftertaste is bready malts, earthy hops
O - i can see why this is popular among older guys that i know. Its a (very) cheap aal that actually tastes like beer. It's the best of the super budget aal's and possibly the best of the aal's that i've had. Side by side of this and PBR is needed.

Clear pale gold with two fingers of large bubble head that departs quickly. A few splotches of lace.
Smell is a bit of grain bin.
Taste is grainy with a detectable hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with ample carbonation. Finish is lightly dry and mildly bitter.
Overall a fine cheap AAL. Not as good as many I could name but pretty decent for this price point.
This beer was the new lager label with a 4.8% abv.

The look is a standard American adjunct lager pale straw golden color with a soapy white head made of large white bubbles and lots streaming bubbles.
Sweet bready smell that has a watery smell that comes across a bit metallic.
The taste is also filled with sweet notes and actually does have just a hint of a metallic taste.
Mouth feel is fairly light and finishes fairly crisp.
Not a bad beer at all. The metallic smell does not carry over as heavy into the taste as what I am picking up on the nose. The price point on this beer is really crazy as well with a 30 pack running around $15. On my can it says that the ABV is 4.3% as opposed to the 4.5% stated on BA which seems odd. I do know they are switching this out to be called Milwaukees Best Lager and it is reported to be formulated at 4.8% ABV. I look forward to seeing what will be done with the newest variant of this one.

Well have I drank gallons of this stuff back in the day.

This is the epitome of that cheap college beer. Yellow. Smells of fraternity couches.

Taste is palateable, I mean, its not terrible. Its just super watered down AAL beer. Everything is compromised, but its that familiar cheap beer you drank to get started, not for taste. Straw yellow, heavily carbonated, adjunct corner cutters. Rough poops the next day.

Know what you're signing up for.

I honestly don't have a clue what the recipe is for this beer, and I don't care to find out. Smells and tastes like year old corn sileage. I don't know if hops were added, maybe they found a variety that also smells of rotting corn. Pale straw yellow, inadequate carbonation, strong malt taste for the style, but frankly, not very good.

Poured from a 16 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a pale light golden color with a small white head. The aroma is all grain. The taste is grain and corn with some mild carbonation. If you are going to power-drink this should be the beer you choice to do it with.

Geezer beer.

Being a geezer myself, I know whereof I speak. Sometimes I think Miller has a basic beer that is packaged and sold under different labels for those of us who tend to buy "our brand" over and over. Nothing wrong with this package, light color, flavor, clean fizzy beer for when you want to drink a beer without analyzing it.

Buy when it's on sale which happens often.

Clarity is excellent. Golden straw color with lots of bubbles. Nice head of creamy off white foam that lasted well. Practically no nose. Low malty presence on the nose that becomes more grainy as it warms. Faint hint of dms. No hops presence on the nose at all. Light fruity ester from yeast. No diacetyl. Taste is light and I mean thin. Light corn sweetness. It has low malty flavor, some dms, a little bite from bubble and low to no hops presence on the palate. There is a good balance and a finishing bitterness. This malt is crisp and very thin. No diacetyl.

This brings back memories of working at Lake Timberline. I used to go to Barney's Mini mart and pick up 40's of this, then at the liquor store I worked at. Color is pale straw. Head seemed to collapse on itself. Smell was adjuncts. Taste was corny with some cereal. Pretty inoffensive.

Pours a moderate/good foam head, depending on the aggressiveness of the pour. It dissipates quickly enough.
Has a pale-straw -yellow color. Not bad, average, not a "nice" color.
From the can it has the average cheap AAL smell, but once in a glass it has a sweet, corn like fragrance to it.
Tastes is better than I expected for the price. Reminds me or corn, maybe even grains. Has a flavor to it. Not watery.
Has a smooth feel to it, with a minor aftertaste. Light to moderate carbonation.

Overall, for the price, it's better than I expected, not watery like others of its kind, not overly carbonated, the taste itself isn't poor, but not to everyones liking, similar to Coors in my opinion.

Still don't have an taste for this beer because it's an acquired taste. My grandpa drank it often after working all day in the fields. He told me in Vietnam the good beer would go quick and all that was left was PBR. He told me after 2 years of PBR he came home and enjoyed Milwaukee's Best and swore he'd never drink blue ribbon beer. I respect my grandfather enough that when hands me a Milwaukee's best I feel honored to drink a beer with him no matter what brand, and it an honor!

This barely qualifies as beer. It tastes like water and feels like water. Mostly corn and sugar, some faded hops at the end of the sip. Super cold, it goes down easy. Crisp all around, easy to pound. But I imagine you would need one million pints of this to get a slight buzz.

It isn't offensive, I drank it all. But I'd be hard pressed to call this a brewing product.

This beers major downfall is that it's flat. Maybe they make it like that so you can pound them back, I dunno. It's got some flavor going on but still seems light and drinkable, and the price is right.

Pour in a glass and hide the can quick because color scheme and design of the product is one of the worst I've ever seen.

12 oz can. $16.74 for a 30 pack of cans at Walmart.

Small head that dissipates quickly. Minimal lacing. Light golden, yellowish body. Moderate but lively carbonation. Looks like a typical American Adjunct Lager.

Clean. Mild maltiness. White bread.

Mild sweet maltiness. Light dry corn flavor. Very clean and smooth. Mild balancing hops. The taste is good. For a cheap, lighter style adjunct lager this is good. The malt flavor is nice. The corn flavor is subdued. The hops are very mild but there. Hard to find a better tasting beer at this price point. Much better than many other lagers that cost more. Clean. Nothing off.

Well carbonated but still soft on the palate and easy to drink. Light bodied. Very clean and smooth. A great hot weather beer.

A great "cheap beer". Light and smooth. Good beer flavor for the style and price point. 12 oz cans are the way to go. Buy fresh. Serve ICE COLD. Pour out into a frosty mug and enjoy! This is a no nonsense old school lager. It is clean and refreshing at a great price. The taste is very good because you can taste the malt and the hops are very light but decent. The corn tastes good without being too astringent. For a light bodied adjunct lager this is a great brew. Very consistent. Ice cold goodness.

[Old Review from June 2014:
32oz can. $1.99 at the local beer convenience store.

Large foamy white head that dissipates quickly. Light lacing. Very light golden body. Crystal clear. Light carbonation.

Starts out harsh and astringent. After the beer settles for a minute or two the smell improves. Corn and malted barley.

A slightly watered down, more light bodied version of Miller High Life. Corn and malted barley. The barley flavor is quite nice, but you have to get through the corn to taste it. There is a sweetness to this beer. Hops are light. They are detectable as a balancing bitterness on the back end. The hops balance the sweetness and corn/barley nicely. There is a slight astringency/harshness to this beer that is best masked by COLD TEMPERATURE. However overall this is a fairly well balanced, smooth, drinkable beer. Actually TASTES GOOD.

Light bodied. Carbonation is strong on the tongue.

This is a somewhat harsh, but tasty economy macro lager. Miller goes too heavy with the corn every time. That being said, I still like this beer and would drink it again. Tasty. Has potential. Good value. Not the highest quality.]

The pour produces a surprisingly thick head with a lot of disproportionate bubbles. It fades quickly to a thin lace with a wee bit of lacing (also surprising). The look displays the expected macro filtered clarity with plenty of rising bubbles. Color is light gold and appealing.

The aroma is of stale grain husks and a bit of corn. Smells surprisingly dirty and a bit like a poor malt liquor, though without any alcohol heat for obvious reasons.

The taste is a bit better than the aroma. Surprisingly decent malt flavor. A bit on the sweet side though there is just enough hop bitterness (assuming actual hops were even used here) to keep it from being cloying. The finish is a bit rough, kind of wet and dirty. A touch of alcohol is also detected, which is kind of sad considering the low abv.

You can do much worse than this, though you can also do much better. While I don't factor price into my ratings I will say I that this isn't a bad value pick ( I payed under 6 bucks for a 12 pack). Overall you are still much better off going with PBR.

I know, I know BUT never tried it and it is very cheap. Like 50c a can. LOL! Sampled back on May 30th. Comes in a 12 ounce can. Can chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a vintage "SCHLITZ" thumb-print-goblet.

Brew pours a deep golden-yellow in color with a think white head, as most of these types of brews do. Some spotty lacing was seen when sipped. The aroma is pretty much like all the others of this style, which is grains and sweet corn for the most part. Pretty much is said for the taste along with some yeast. Lightly dry finish with a bit watery. Lighter bodied with good carbonation. Overall it was just OK (if that) and not special. A cheap brew if you are budget-minded.

Clear, straw appearance with thick, white, bubbly head. Mild aroma of corn husks with a slight breadiness. Flavor is very light. Corn taste and not much else. Nothing offensive. Watery mouthfeel. Smooth, crisp finish. Slightly sweet. Overall: A very drinkable beer. Nothing bad about it, but also nothing memorable about it either. Good beer for a hot day when you're looking to pound a few.

Pours a nice golden color with a nice head that lingers. Smells quite putrid like most other adjunct lagers. Goes down smooth, but a little bitter on the palate. Not much flavor but not bad either. Overall not bad for a adjunct lager.

I used to drink this in high school when it first came out and good thing I didn't know any better. It is still one of the weakest tasting beers out there. It is cheap so if your beer budget is $10 per month this might be the beer for you.

The aroma is typical American Adjunct with a sweet corny malt, metallic tinnieness and an airy scent of carbonation.

For the most part I don't find this much different than so many adjuncts as the corn is sweet and pervasive. It does have a bit of metallic flavor and a harsh carbonated feel. It tastes cheap and is cheap.
