24 oz can into a frosty mug.

A - Very light straw yellow body. Surprisingly a large and thick super soapy head formed.

S - Corn, grain. Sweet and simple. Nothing too offensive about it. If anything its inviting for an AAL.

T - Watery sweet corn water with some grainy and mineral qualities on the finish. Boring yet easy drinking. Watery mouth feel with high carbonation.

O - I can't beat up on this beer too much. For $1.20 you get an easy drinking beer thats low on flavor. Its not offensive, and its not too corny or overtly sweet. Much better than I thought it would be.

Another college tick. Pours light golden with fluffy white head. Aroma of stale corn and straw, with some additional unpleasant funk. Flavor follows with light corn and a rather dirty finish to boot. Light body and high carbonation, but that's about all this has going for it. Avoid.

A - Clear, pale gold. Two finger foamy white head, active carbonation bubbles abound

S - Cooked grain, corn, VERY faint hops. You really have to search for the aforementioned smells.

T - Sweet cooked grain / corn, metallic, sweet low end malt and a scant hop finish.

M - Watery, almost no body. Typical American Adjunct Lager over carbonation.

O - Yes, this is a cheap beer. Like most things you get what you pay for. I actually like the "Beast" more than the MGD I punished myself with the other day. This was the main beer we drank in college and it soothed many a pain post rugby games. Maybe I am just conditioned to its lack luster taste.

Out of a 40 bottle (hey, this is Baltimore!) this beer was a clear golden color with one finger of super fluffy white head. The retention was good especially as a collar and it left consistent spots of lacing. The aroma was of corn, rice and faint malt. The flavors were mostly of corn and sweet malt as well as a little floral hops at the end. Simple but non-offensive and actually much better than most beers available in 40s. The mouthfeel was average albeit watery (standard for the style), the body medium/light and the carbonation medium.

Poured from 24oz can into a Pilsner glass.

Appearance: yellow hue which is neither a rich gold nor a pale straw; kind of artificial. Other than that, the beer's got good clarity, a good effervescence and a two-finger cap of off-white foam. Not too bad, for the style.

Smell: kind of a grainy aroma with an off-putting plasticy thing going on. Pretty mild, so it's not horribly offensive or anything.

Taste: light and mostly inoffensive. Somewhat grainy and watery; it's less offensive than the aroma. Still, not great overall, as there is pretty much nothing here.

Mouthfeel: almost nonexistent. Watery and quite unfulfilling. The carbonation is appropriate, though. Fizzy and somewhat refreshing.

Overall: this is not a very good beer, but I readily admit I have had much worse. Beast indeed, but not a complete abomination.

Am I really drinking this? Poured this American Lager from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. Pours a clear golden straw color, produces a below average white head. Retention was poor. The aroma smelled of faint traces of grain, faint traces of lacing left behind on the glass. Light in body, flavor of grain and corn. Semi sweet very thin brew. Overall, very cheap, piss poor beer- even for an American Adjunct Lager.

I think this has recently been restaged as "Premium" and I'm not sure if the recipe was changed, but it's pretty bad -- it tastes like rotgut, bottom-of-the-barrell stuff. I think SABM has relegated the whole Miller family to the budget category and this is the lowest rung -- headache material for sure. Try to avoid.

A 6-pack of these for $2.99? Sure, why not. Had back in June of this year.

Poured one into a glass for reviewing purposes. Pours a straw gold, with an inch of foamy white on top. The nose is cheap and weak with a metallic twang to it. Slick body that goes down easily. Mild husky flavors that are spot on for this inexpensive brew. Simple. Thirst-quenching. Cheap. Most likely won't have again, but it's not the worst thing I've ever had.

A: Poured from a 40 oz. bottle into a pint glass, this beer displayed the expected clear, watery yellow hue beneath a frothy white head that stuck around a little longer than expected. Not impressive in the least.

S: There really isn't much in the way of an aroma here, but that could just be due to the seasonal allergies with which I've been dealing. I was barely able to detect hints of grain husks and an oddly metallic scent. That's pretty much it.

T: Opens slick and smooth with fleeting notes of grain husks, cooked vegetables, corn syrup, mineral water, grassy hops, and a sharp metallic tang. The finish is virtually nonexistent with that metallic taste partially obscured by unpleasant cooked vegetable notes.

M: light-bodied, slick, and a bit syrupy.

O: This stuff is even worse than I remember it being. "The Beast" deserves to be feared.

pale straw color. white frothy head. head eventually dissipates into thin practically non existent splotches of bubbles.

smells like corn. and a little like alcohol. no hop aroma. a little funk aroma, may be attributed to yeast.

taste up upfront is pretty neutral, then a little sweet, and tasting a lot like corn. no malt flavor. no hop flavor. finishes sweet. flavor dissipates quickly after finish.

very crisp. light body.

overall this beer is bad.

12-oz can into weizen glass

A - crystal-clear straw yellow body under a quickly-dissipating foamy white head; a few small rising carbonation bubbles

S - adjunct grains and alcohol

T - sweet grains, weak hops, and alcohol; dry-ish malty finish

M - light-bodied with above-average carbonation

O - You receive that for which you pay.

Date on bottom of can is "AUG2211". Pours to a quickly dissipating head and a strange gold-straw color with a slight tint of caramel color. Smells of cooked corn and slight sulfur form the yeast. Flavor is grainy, corny with a splash of cheap Chablis in the finish. No discernible hop presence, just a nondescript bite that balances the grain. Finishes dry with lingering corn notes. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Overall, for me today, this beer is not terrible, just not anything particularly interesting.

Regular macro lager look. Yellow golden, clear body with a stark-white soapy head.

It mainly smells of sweet corn, generalized grain. Maybe a little hops.

There's lots of carbonation, it's very watery. Some grain, a little hop bite,

It's dry, crisp, refreshing, and a great value for the price.

32oz can poured into a Harpoon IPA kolsh-style pint glass. Bottom of can stamped OCT1711.

Appearance - Large foamy white head with medium-low retention. Clear, very light gold body.

Smell - Corn. Wood. Earth. Pretty musky.

Taste - Alcoholic and corny front end. Very musky corny finish. Lingering, musky aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - No crispness, bite, or effervescence on the tongue whatsoever. Feels like drinking water. It's as if all the carbonation went directly to the head.

Overall Drinkability - This beer is a catastrophe. One of the worst beers I've ever had. I will never buy this again.

This one pours a nice golden hue with a little head that fades quick.
Smells sweet of corn and some malts not much going on here
Tastes sweet whith a hint of corn and maybe some grape juice undertones. not much in the way of mouthfeel except water with a little something extra.
Dispite the taste I could drink this crap all day. I just wish this tasted this good . . . or not so bad during my undergrad years.
Overall its a good sub when drinking with the masses who don't enjoy good beer.

Consumed by the can on 5/9/2011

I decided to pick of a 12 pack of this at my local 6 shop because I heard it was cheap and not too bad. Well cheap? No...I paid 8.50 for a 12 pack, not the 3 or 4 dollars people were saying on the internet. Perhaps it's because I live in Pennsylvania...Idk.

Appearance: Didn't even bother to pour from the can. So I decided just to pour a tad bit out to get color. Your standard yellow beer color. Didn't really get much of a head from it.

Smell: Pretty average. Very little malt, a lot of fresh creamed corn, and an blast of hops. Not too shabby at all.

Taste: First sip was pretty bland. After consuming it for awhile I really started to like it a lot. Nice ghosting of malts, mostly creamed corn, and what the hell is this? Hops!? Yes sirs and mams. The hops actually show up pretty well. Now this isnt that awesome, expensive, top class hops taste, no no. They are used up, but still make this a pretty decent taste for a brew as such.

Mouthfeel: Carbonated, not too much, maybe not enough? After drinking it awhile I got use to it though. Very easy to drink.

Overall this beer really isn't too bad. I really liked that I could actually taste hops in it. I would recommend this for people on a budget and to people who are sick of Budweiser and Coors. I will get this again, keep it part of my "cheap can beer" rotation.

Can, given to me at a social gathering of sorts.

Looks like someone pissed into the can, carbonated it to death, liquified a corn cob, and then diluted it with water.

The taste was so bad that i spit it out after my first sip. I tried to drink more of it, and eventually dumped it. It tasted like afterbirth.

Never again.

Tick #2000. What better beer to celebrate such an occasion than this?

A: A rather impressive pour. Clear golden/yellow with a finger of white head and a touch of lacing. Rather aggressive carbonation.

S: Smells sweet and full of corn. Some white grape juice and apple juice too. A little bit of grain and a touch of metal. No really off or offensive aromas, though.

T: Sweet corn and grain make up the bulk of the flavor. No real hop flavors here. There is a touch of grainy sweetness to it and perhaps some more of the grape juice sweetness as well.

M: Light in body with a moderate to high carbonation.

D: I was surprised. This is nowhere near as bad as I had remembered from many drunken nights at the fraternity house.

Another can stolen from a friend's fridge, for grabbing a single of this is somewhat unlikely. Can poured into a pint glass. Just noting the subtle addition of 'Miller' on the can. Pours a classic light straw with a thin cap of white foam. Quite clear and offering a short lived head yet holding a thing film.

Nose is grainy and neutral with some barley and sweet lemon rice, perhaps some corn notes. Offers a spicy and perky carbonation. Flavor is light as expected and lightly sweet of corn syrup.

Typical for the style and yet without the shortcomings of many brews, 'Milwaukee's Best'?? holds strong amongst many BMC brews..

A) I eased the beer into the glass because this beer needs all the carbonation it can get. Crystal clear, light light light yellow.

S) Corny, old stale beer. Smells like my teen years.

T) I just can't taste enough to give any names. A little corny. A slight sweetness. Beer gets worse as it warms and loses carbonation.

M) Light

D) Drinkable cold. This is actually the beer I buy for mindless beers with friends. Cheap, imageless, flavorless.

Rite Aid had a SuperBowl special - $6 for a 12 pack.

A - Straw colored and pale, no sense of body whatsoever.
S - Stale, fermented.
T - Flat, skunk-y with a bit of lager hopness.
M - None - slips right down your gullet.
D - Easy to drink more than one but you'll feel it the next morning.

The Beast is even worse than I remember it being in college. I'm sticking with PBR.

Poured from 12oz can into 400ml Radeberger Seidel

Appearance: Very pale straw color with a large white head that dissipates very quickly and leaves a few small spots of lace.

Smell: Smells of hay and some malt.

Taste: Begins with almost no flavor at all, only a hint of sweetness with a rubbery note on the palate rounds out to absolutely nothing, before finishing with a strong rubbery flavor and alcohol. The fact that alcohol can be tasted in a beer of this ABV is a serious problem.

Mouthfeel: Light body with fizzy-but-not-overpowering carbonation and a watery finish.

Drinkability: This is the worst beer I have had, bar none. It literally is nearly flavorless, with the only flavor it does have being unpleasant and off-putting.

Milwaukee's Best Premium pours a crystal clear light yellow, with a fizzy head that faded before I finished pouring. The aroma is light and grainy. More slightly sweet graininess appears in the flavor, with no hint of hop flavor or bitterness. The finish is fairly clean. Overall the only thing this beer has going for it is the price, but it's not really offensive either. It's not nearly as bad as I remember from my early college days.

This is another beer to mow and play golf with. It is good for that at least. I usually have this in cans when i do have it and it tastes fine smells ok drinks well, and is cheap and easy to find. It is like the rest of these mass produced beers. I would not drink it again.

Possibly one of the worst beers ever invented alongside its counterparts old milwaukee, & Milwaukee's best Ice it has the same textures as any regular malt liquor. the smell is faint. when it goes down even when its cold it has a very watery but thick taste. its not a very pleasant experience. it is a very foamy one it when it is poured in a glass. i will admit it is a challenge to any beer drinker, specially ones who are in to more higher end lagers ales.
