America's first domestic ice beer, Icehouse is traditionally brewed, fermented and, just before aging, its temperature is lowered to below freezing. This process imparts the beer's smoothness and an alcohol content that's slightly higher (5.5% by volume) than other regular premium beer brands. Icehouse was introduced in 1993 and has reinforced its position as the ultimate beer for wind-up and pre-game occasions. Blending humor and high-energy excitement, Icehouse marketing encourages its target consumers to take occasions to the next level with a great-tasting beer.

One of the better cheap beers out there.

I bought this beer from a decent sized liquor store in hopes of finding a new cheap beer i liked. When i first sipped this beer i was absolutely bombarded by the cheap beer taste. It's really obvious how low quality this beer is and it showed. But....would i drink this at a college football game? Yes...would I drink this at a awkward family gathering? No stick to bud or coors

I was watching God's Not Dead 2 one night and drinking a 40 of one of these. Got down to the bottom and started cutting it with Taaka 100. I was basically hallucinating by the end. Woof. Kinda fun I guess depending on how you define fun. Probably wouldn't do it again tho. If youre going to watch God's Not Dead 2 or any God's Not Dead for that matter, you'll need some alcohol because those movies are straight dogshit and this beer will do just fine. It kinda tasted like bud lite cut with rubbing alcohol. Eh

It was an alright beer. Not the best and not the worst either. It was cheap and available so I tried it. It was one of the few selections that the supermarket had. Decent beer, great price. I will buy it or drink it again if nothing else is available.

Not my favorite Miller product by any stretch, but if it's on offer I won't refuse it either. Pours a typical pale straw color. My can seemed to be on the verge of overly carbonated; resulting in an enormous, rocky head. Yet as quickly as the head came, it dwindled almost into nothing. The smell featured a bit of booze on the nose; taste much the same. Felt a bit slick on the tongue.

As I said above: not my favorite, but I wouldn't refuse it.

Rating the beer for what it is is always important. It is a cheap beer using an ABV 'pumper' technique. A really strange beer. This thing is a corn syrup BOMB. but interestingly doesn't come with the film on the lips. It's interestingly very clean and doesn't 'bog down' the drinker. Let's dive in.

Look: Initially inoffensive. Typical for the style. Until you hold it up to the light and look from beneath the surface to see a creepy, murky green color. It was interesting...to say the least.

Smell: Notes of corn syrup. Also, a strange acetic smell, like one might experience when drinking a woodchuck hard cider. That processed apple smell. Really odd with the corn notes. Not exactly pleasant. But interesting enough to warrant further investigation.

Taste: CORN BOMB. That's about it. No hop character, just corn. Little bit of metal. I don't mind corn. Corn is good. This was fine. Metal isn't the best.

Feel: Smoooooth. Very, very drinkable. Probably why this beer has lasted as long as it has. Certainly wasn't any of the other elements I described before. Pure velvet drinking experience. No 'sticky' residuals. If it tasted better, this would be an American staple.

Overall: A very drinkable and fine experience. If they worked on the flavor, it'd be truly wonderful. A nice 'lawn-cutting' beer.

It's Icehouse! It's super cheap and it is more flavorful than Bud or PBR.

Look: Horrendous. Super light yellow.
Smell: Good for an AAL. Some light malt with a substantial biscuit-ness.
Taste: Definitely one of the more flavorful AAL's out there. Has an almost cream-like taste.
Feel: I think tap water has more carbonation.
Overall: This beer certainly punches above its weight (and price). I like this beer a lot, and consider it one of the best options when shopping at 7/11 or WalMart.

I try to see the "good" in every beer.
I think it's amazing that this can of slightly fizzy and tasteless water stands at 5.5% ABV.
I just chugged a 24 oz can and feel very cheated...lol.
Live and learn.
The promise of "BOLDER TASTE" makes me wonder how dishonest the people are who have marketed this extremely tasteless beer.
