Unfortunately, I dislike this one just as much as the regular. IMO, Lite is far superior to this, and I'm not a big fan of it. Has a watered down taste of the original and I can't stand that taste. Haven't had in a while and will probably never drink again.

Got 18 bottles for $10. That is the only good news I have to report. It’s not good. I didn’t think it would be good, but it’s worse that I thought. If you have other options, explore them.

A 12 pack of clear twist-off bottles ran me $8.49 at my local Total Wine & More; I don't know that I've ever actually seen this beer sold anywhere else.

Average light beer. It’s like Miller High Life with more water and a little less taste. It’s a good thirst quencher if nothing else. Have had it in cans and bottles. I think the bottles are better. Cheers.

It's hot outside, the wife's complaining. You're health conscious, you know it's hot, so you should stay hydrated, but you really do need a beer right now. This is what you should reach for, because it exists in a space between beer and water, lurching ever so slightly toward the world of beer, so that is good enough to enjoy.

Different beers for different jobs. If you're a line cook at an unprofessional eating establishment where drinking on the job is not only allowed but encouraged, trapped for hours over a sweltering flat-top grill, I highly recommend throwing a case of tallboys in the walk-in cooler. Your coworkers will thank you for it.

Looks like nothing. Smells like nothing. Feels like nothing. That's why this is enjoyable. Especially compared to the miserable "classic" highlife. This beer is okay. It doesn't try to be anything it's not.

Why? The color is goldish. No head or lacing. The nose like a factory. Metal meets Ford's assembly line. The taste has a paucity of flavor but it has a clean finish. You get the corn and the metal. Too much water. Overall, why?

Light yellow color with diminishing white cap.

Mild flavor of clean grain with the faintest hint of floral hops.

It tastes like a light beer which is to say hope is dashed if you were hoping for more. It actually has a good deal less flavor than Sam Adams Light, Yuengling Light, or suchlike, yet what little it has is very clean from start to finish.

Light texture with balancing carbonation.

Other than it may be available or on sale I really can't see any reason to move this one above it's brethren on the totem pole yet the only real negative is the lack of positives.

This is one of the better light beer I have had, it leaves nice lacing in the glass, It is a little too carbonated for my taste. This is worth a try as to me it is better than Miller light

Clear light golden color with a quickly dissipating soapy white head. Lots of carbonation clinging to the glass with a bunch of streaming bubbles.

Smell is sweet bread maybe some biscuits as well. Smell was a bit soapy smelling in an odd way.

Taste is very watery with a beer flavor in the background. Just not a large flavor profile on this one.

Mouth feel is watery and refreshing with a crisp finish.

This is not a bad beer when served cold in the can (seems to be the consensus for these light beers). And as long as someone is not looking for a big complex beer, maybe just a cool drink on a hot day, this would work. I have found a lot of these light beers fit that profile of someone just wanting a cold drink that has some beer taste. With low alcohol levels these are also very sessionable and sit a bit better in a persons gut on a hot day. Strange that Miller makes Lite and this beer has much more flavor then High Life Light. I really find that Lite is overall the better of these light beers. Again if you live in a hot ass place like Las Vegas these can work to a certain extent.

It is similar in taste, look & aroma to Bud Light & Coors Light. If you likes those beers, then you will like this one and save money in the process. The price for 30 of these is about the same as for 24 of Bud Light or Coors Light.

Harsh looking aal style beer, doesn't make a head or provide any lacing to be up on, just that returned yellow color, gold. Aroma was harsh, industrial metallic and bittering long boil hops.

Taste, more alcohol and metal. Lots of carbonation, corn, industrial again. Smells good when they make it, but everything goes downhill from there. Should be lighter than this, the fizziness is to the extreme. Lots of water. Mouthfeel is unpleasant like alka seltzer.

The light version of High Life. This beer was like water in almost every aspect. On the tongue it felt as if you were drinking a club soda, something I guess would be okay if you're into that. Aroma was almost nonexistent. Good for when you're doing yardwork and other home improvement projects. Taste was subdued and almost not there. Probably wouldn't have this again. I've only seen this in 32 Oz. cans, never bottles.

I am not a "beer" drinker, but enjoy Miller High Life Light. After my umpteenth kidney stone I decided to try a light beer, and of the several I tried this was my favorite. I tried higher rated beers such as Sam Adams and Guinness and could barely drink them. I found I like cheap domestics...go figure!

Taste is great for a non-beer drinker. Never liked the taste of beer, but being a light beer, it is smooth and easy to drink, and very refreshing. One reason I liked it is there is no aftertaste and tastes fresh! Oh and the carbonation is spot on, certainly the champagne of beers.

It has light straw color and thick head that takes a minute or so to diminish. Very appealing!

I like the smell, smells like beer! I compared it with the other beers I tried, and they all smell the same to me. Obviously I have no idea how to test taste, smell, etc. All I can say, is as a newbie, I like Miller High Life Lite.

For reference I compared Miller High Life to PBR (great, but too many cals), to Coors Light (okay), Miller Lite (did not like it), Bud Lite (okay).

Look-It is as clear as is its deception on your palate. Light yellow colors like piss and nothing special.

Smell-It smells like a beer that you should not let touch your tongue.

Taste-It tastes like you really shouldn’t have tasted this beer. Your nose was trying to save you from a catastrophe.

Mouthfeel-It feels like sticky garbage and once again this is just punishment for drinking this awful beer.

Overall-I cannot be more clear than DO NOT DRINK THIS!

Hard to find in bottles but this is my favorite light beer. I usually enjoy it in two thin bottle coozie placed inside a thick foam can coozie. I also enjoy it out of a mug when I am feeling fancy or watching a baseball game. It's not bad out of a can either. Much easier to find in an 18 pack of cans around me. Also widely available in a 32 oz travel size.
Because this beer is value priced I think most beer drinkers underestimate it. It has a great beer taste without the sweetness of regular high life and most other adjunct lagers. I have some nose-in-the-air friends who will only drink their overpriced bud light but I think they are missing the boat with high life light. It pairs well with almost anything...except jack daniels. Nachos, fries, wings, pizza, taco bell...very versatile beer for any cuisine. The mouthfeel is good and keeps getting better as you drink more. The clear bottle is great for when youre outside because you can easily see if a bug is floating around on the top.
This is truly the champagne of light beers...I think that much is clear.

I love the way the champagne of beers (light) looks in the bottle. Quintessential lawnmower beer. Smell? Not much to really speak to. Taste is clean and crisp, dry grainy flavor. Best served ice cold. This son of a bitch was actually in the freezer for a while. Very smooth in a watery kind of way, maybe good at a tailgate when that's the sort of thing a drinker is looking for. Also, it's cheap as all get-out if that matters for anything. It went very well on a warm June evening with my blackened salmon over greens. All in all, a refreshing and satisfying brew.

for its class of beer, which i have little love for, this really is pretty solid. i dont drink much american adjunct light lager, but if i am, this isnt a bad pick. i should say though, that the bottle is an awful experience, but the cans, when ice cold, can be refreshing if nothing else. when ice cold, the flavors of the can and the extracty malt stay back, and just clean yellow beer comes through, just like grand pappy likes it, and although it would never stack up, in my opinion, against even a lousy craft lager, i think it has redeeming value, and i would take it over scores and scores of its peers. i cant stand miller light, one of the worst beers on earth, but this high life light is a big improvement over it, when fresh enough, and when freezing. the temperature is important, more than in other beers, because a warm beer in this category is not a nice thing. its also not bad when you are full of wedding cake, thirsty, and stoned. i have to give it that, it has earned it enough times now to warrant this meager review...

Miller High Life Light brewed by Miller Brewing Co., with an ABV of 4.5% This brew pours out a nice amber color with a nice white head. High Life Light has the look of most light Lager on the market. However it has a bit more of an ABV. The smell is rich with flavors. You pick up on grains, malts and some hops. It smells like beer, what more can I say. Now for the taste it is light with some grains and malts. There is nothing overpowering about Miller High Life Light, it is smooth going down. The mouthfeel is smooth clean and refreshing. This is not a brew with a lot of flavor however it is a nice drinking brew. Overall I'm giving Miller High Life Light a 3.75 out of 5. Miller High Life Light is what it is Light brew. Miller Brewing Co. did a nice job with this one I would buy this brew again.

This an above average Light American beer. For taste, it may be the best tasting macrobrew Light American lager because the beer taste is there. Miller and Bud Light have almost no taste. Coors is sweet, but not a lot of beer taste. I think Miller High Lifw Light is a quality beer, and maybe best in its category.

One of the better Lights Beers.

A good looking beer but a step down from regular High Life in appearance. Moderate head that dissipates quickly but with decent lacing. Clear, light golden body with moderate carbonation.

Mild. Neutral. Clean. Rice and corn?

Light. Clean. Sweet grain. Light balancing dryness (barely).

Crisp. Watery. Mild grainy body. A little sweet. Faint hint of dryness. Super drinkable. Goes down smooth.

Tasters like a cross between Miller High Life and Michelob Ultra. Mildly flavorful and yet superbly smooth. Ice cold on a hot day this is hard to beat. A real thirst quencher.

Couldn't pass up the price on a 30 pack tonight. I have more than 100 beers in my house, but I'll admit I have an addiction to acquiring things.

Appearance (3.25) : Straw, pale golden color, with a very fluffy and lively 3 fingered head. The head leaves lacing down the sides of the glass, a plus for a light beer. Recedes to about 1 finger.

Aroma (3) : Fresh, clean scents. Cooked corn, light hop, floral, water, and more corn.

Taste (3) : Malt hits first with a corn underbelly and a malty barley finish. Ends with a trademark Miller Lite type of dry hopped finish. Out of the can there is tin and metallic notes, when poured that goes away. Definitely better out of a glass, but I doubt I'm gonna take the time to pour this one to drink it anyways.

Mouthfeel (2.75) : Carbonated, creamy, watery. Light bodied.

Overall : For a light beer, this one isn't half bad. I still stand by High Life as being the better option, but if you're watching your waistline, this one ain't bad...just make sure you don't reach for two for every one of regular high life you'd grab normally because the flavor is missing. Defeats the purpose!
