It is similar in taste, look & aroma to Bud Light & Coors Light. If you likes those beers, then you will like this one and save money in the process. The price for 30 of these is about the same as for 24 of Bud Light or Coors Light.

Hard to find in bottles but this is my favorite light beer. I usually enjoy it in two thin bottle coozie placed inside a thick foam can coozie. I also enjoy it out of a mug when I am feeling fancy or watching a baseball game. It's not bad out of a can either. Much easier to find in an 18 pack of cans around me. Also widely available in a 32 oz travel size.
Because this beer is value priced I think most beer drinkers underestimate it. It has a great beer taste without the sweetness of regular high life and most other adjunct lagers. I have some nose-in-the-air friends who will only drink their overpriced bud light but I think they are missing the boat with high life light. It pairs well with almost anything...except jack daniels. Nachos, fries, wings, pizza, taco bell...very versatile beer for any cuisine. The mouthfeel is good and keeps getting better as you drink more. The clear bottle is great for when youre outside because you can easily see if a bug is floating around on the top.
This is truly the champagne of light beers...I think that much is clear.

I am not a "beer" drinker, but enjoy Miller High Life Light. After my umpteenth kidney stone I decided to try a light beer, and of the several I tried this was my favorite. I tried higher rated beers such as Sam Adams and Guinness and could barely drink them. I found I like cheap domestics...go figure!

Taste is great for a non-beer drinker. Never liked the taste of beer, but being a light beer, it is smooth and easy to drink, and very refreshing. One reason I liked it is there is no aftertaste and tastes fresh! Oh and the carbonation is spot on, certainly the champagne of beers.

It has light straw color and thick head that takes a minute or so to diminish. Very appealing!

I like the smell, smells like beer! I compared it with the other beers I tried, and they all smell the same to me. Obviously I have no idea how to test taste, smell, etc. All I can say, is as a newbie, I like Miller High Life Lite.

For reference I compared Miller High Life to PBR (great, but too many cals), to Coors Light (okay), Miller Lite (did not like it), Bud Lite (okay).

In the cheap beer for summer time chugging category, this is a sure thing. It goes down so smooth, it's scary.

There are no "off" flavors. It's one of the few cheap beers that doesn't give you a gag reflex.

Regular Miller High Life is good too, but the Miller High Life Light is even better for thirst quenching.

I hear that Miller puts something in the beer to keep it from "skunking" up. Still, I have had some in the clear bottles that have slight skunk. So I always go for the cans and pour in a glass.

This is the only cheap light beer worth drinking.

What do you look for in an american macro lager. You look for something that's crisp, refreshing, smooth, and mildly bitter. Check check check check. This beer is what one would look for in a light lager. Has a faint smell, but at least i smell something. I can't smell anything in a lot of light lagers. Great head retention and a nice pale yellow. Taste is remarkably smooth. Mouthfeel is amazing just so well carbonated its crazy. I could pound these all night.
So what if it's not some bitter harsh beer that you have to acquire a taste for over time. This beer is what it is. It wasn't made to be anything else. It was made to have low calories and still be refreshing with not too much of a watered down taste. That's exactly what it is. Don't let your arrogance get in the way of having a beer you can just pound down and be refreshed by.

Good job Miller High Life Light

Appearance: Gold in color, white head. Obviously a light beer due to its transparency.

Taste: Not a bitter beer, some sweetness in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Feels like water, no real volume to the beer

Drinkability: Superb, drinking this fast or slow is easy as anything

Overall I enjoy this beer, while it is not the best tasting, when comparing it to other similarly priced beers, it excels. Bang for buck, this is my light beer of choice. Especially if you are in college and tired of Natty, or Milwaukee's Best, or Keystone, this is your saving grace.

Lots of haters on this one bringing the score down. However, I'm a firm believer in rating things based on what they are. I appreciate a great craft beer, and have often been called a beer snob. But this is not a craft beer. Therefore, it should not be rated like a craft beer.

So, of all the cheap beers out there (including MGD, Bud, Coors, High Life, Pabst, etc., etc., etc.), High Life and High Life Light are my go-tos. They have more flavor than most, go down smooth, and taste reasonably good (and refreshing) when really cold.

At room temperature, I'll pass. But throw one in the freezer for awhile, and you will take out a decent tasting beer for those weeks when money's tight. Founders it ain't. But it is one of the better BudMilloors products.

I think High Life original is possibly my favorite American Lager. Thought this would just be a watered-down version of that.
It is not. Man I don't want to admit it, but I like this as much as my beloved High Life.
Or do I?
I cannot make up my mind. I do not want to like this as well, but...
Light beer has never been my favorite style, but this may be my favorite of them all.
@$.50 a can this is a bargain. And I like finding good bargains.

What can I say, this beer gets a lot of bad reviews, but I was impressed. Kinda of a drinkable, cornish flavor. Went down smooth. Like I said, hints of corn all over it, almost too much, but besides that, a really decent beer. I would reccomend this beer to the people that are curious to try new beers, but to a veteran, this beer could be bad.

This an above average Light American beer. For taste, it may be the best tasting macrobrew Light American lager because the beer taste is there. Miller and Bud Light have almost no taste. Coors is sweet, but not a lot of beer taste. I think Miller High Lifw Light is a quality beer, and maybe best in its category.

It is what it is and that's a light beer, probably the best for the money. Miller got it right for this one. It's got a sweet taste with the perfect amount carbonation. Very refreshing even when at room temperature but much better cold (obviously).

decide to try a case of highlife light since a rarely drink light beers.
pours a light golden color , the head stays for a good bit. crisp taste and very drinkable ( good beer for a hot summer day after mowing the lawn.
i am usually a bit hesitant towards light/ lite beer ,but so far in my adventure in the world of beer i find this to be a good example of light beer.

Miller High Life Light brewed by Miller Brewing Co., with an ABV of 4.5% This brew pours out a nice amber color with a nice white head. High Life Light has the look of most light Lager on the market. However it has a bit more of an ABV. The smell is rich with flavors. You pick up on grains, malts and some hops. It smells like beer, what more can I say. Now for the taste it is light with some grains and malts. There is nothing overpowering about Miller High Life Light, it is smooth going down. The mouthfeel is smooth clean and refreshing. This is not a brew with a lot of flavor however it is a nice drinking brew. Overall I'm giving Miller High Life Light a 3.75 out of 5. Miller High Life Light is what it is Light brew. Miller Brewing Co. did a nice job with this one I would buy this brew again.

A = 1 finger head. Nice pale yellow and clear with moderate carbonation.

S - some malt and crisp noble hops perhaps?

T = Very light in flavor but refreshing with a crisp finish.

Mouthfeel - cold and watery with some carbonation on the toungue

Overall - A nice light and refreshing beer to go with anything. Not what you want to warm up to on a cold winter night but good with picnic food and crabs.

Purchased at Holiday beverage in Indiana University of Pennsylvania. It was a case (24) bottles which were bought cold.
Apperance- a typacle beer with a basic amber color with little carbonation
Smell- a weak smell that has no real aroma
Taste- I like the taste when i'm just sitting around drinking but does not compare to fine beers
Mouthful- weak taste so no real specifics
Drinkability- this is the only reason why I drink it, I can drink them all night long

Clear light golden color with a quickly dissipating soapy white head. Lots of carbonation clinging to the glass with a bunch of streaming bubbles.

Smell is sweet bread maybe some biscuits as well. Smell was a bit soapy smelling in an odd way.

Taste is very watery with a beer flavor in the background. Just not a large flavor profile on this one.

Mouth feel is watery and refreshing with a crisp finish.

This is not a bad beer when served cold in the can (seems to be the consensus for these light beers). And as long as someone is not looking for a big complex beer, maybe just a cool drink on a hot day, this would work. I have found a lot of these light beers fit that profile of someone just wanting a cold drink that has some beer taste. With low alcohol levels these are also very sessionable and sit a bit better in a persons gut on a hot day. Strange that Miller makes Lite and this beer has much more flavor then High Life Light. I really find that Lite is overall the better of these light beers. Again if you live in a hot ass place like Las Vegas these can work to a certain extent.

yes, i gave it high marks...but that's because this beer is what it's supposed to be, and then some. it destroys bud lite, coors light, and miller lite. you cannot beat this as far as a cheap, pound em down, refreshing beer. drink one after cutting the grass and you'll see what i mean. taste is a watery beer, great cold. smell is the usual from these kinds, drinkability is through the roof great. awesome beer...for what it is...a super cheap, super drinkable, average joe beer. and i hate this style, so that should tell you something.

One of the better Lights Beers.

A good looking beer but a step down from regular High Life in appearance. Moderate head that dissipates quickly but with decent lacing. Clear, light golden body with moderate carbonation.

Mild. Neutral. Clean. Rice and corn?

Light. Clean. Sweet grain. Light balancing dryness (barely).

Crisp. Watery. Mild grainy body. A little sweet. Faint hint of dryness. Super drinkable. Goes down smooth.

Tasters like a cross between Miller High Life and Michelob Ultra. Mildly flavorful and yet superbly smooth. Ice cold on a hot day this is hard to beat. A real thirst quencher.

A - medium to light amber color. little to no carbonation. no head to speak of. no lacing.

S - better than i expected. hops and malts prominent.

T - not bad. smooth. not overbearing, but not impressive, either.

M - doesn't fill the mouth very well. felt it on the outer tips of my tongue.

D - good, cheap session beer. not a bad beer to drink while grilling on a summer night...or just after having mowed the lawn.

Pours out a pale golden/straw color with a lively carbonation, a thick head that stays around as you drink, and incredible lacing patterns. A true pilsner should strive to look this good. Smells grainy and a little grapey and not much else. Watery smelling. A bit of a malty flavor with some corny grain husk and a light fruitiness. Finishes kind of thinned out and really dry. I quite enjoy the dryness of this. Carbonation is rather mellow for a light lager and it has a bit more body than usual. This is totally inoffensive, but I'd rather be having regular High Life, honestly.

Really the best of the typical light beers I've ever had (barring things like Shiner Light which is a totally different take).

A very nicely done cheap light beer. Picked up a 12 pack for $5.99 that was slightly past expiration. Great price, refreshing light beer that goes down easy. It even has more delicious alcohol than most light beers. It's mostly tasteless, but not offensive like Bud Light. Tastes mostly of corn with a bit of hops and maIts. It's only cheap light beer, but I like it.

I love the way the champagne of beers (light) looks in the bottle. Quintessential lawnmower beer. Smell? Not much to really speak to. Taste is clean and crisp, dry grainy flavor. Best served ice cold. This son of a bitch was actually in the freezer for a while. Very smooth in a watery kind of way, maybe good at a tailgate when that's the sort of thing a drinker is looking for. Also, it's cheap as all get-out if that matters for anything. It went very well on a warm June evening with my blackened salmon over greens. All in all, a refreshing and satisfying brew.

This in one of my essential "garage" or "lawnmover" beers that I keep around the house. It has a straw almost see-through color. It pours watery thin with a very white head. Some hop flavor but not much. it is 5.99/12 pack! u cannot go wrong with that.

Appearance: Extremely clear. Very carbonated with bubbles rising from the bottom. Head starts out at about 2 inches, slowly reducing to about a quarter inch. As the slogan notes, the carbonation can only be described as champagne-like, but soon is limited to the remainder of the bubbles releasing their grip and crawling to the surface. The color is a pale yellow. Leaves very large rows of lacing.

Smell: Somewhat sweet with a clear odor of alcohol. There is a slightly metallic smell, very similar to other beers in the price range.

Taste: A very dull sweet taste, less than noted in the smell. Leaves a strong aftertaste of yeast subsiding within moments. The metallic smell noted before, lingers for slightly longer than the yeast. The flavor is above average for beers of a similar category.

Mouthfeel: Light body with a watery feel on the tongue. The flavor kicks in the longer it is held and a bit unpleasant at first. Definately not a beer to be enjoyed.

Drinkability: The best thing this beer has going for it. The light body and watery taste makes going through High Life far too easy. At $15 for a 30 pack, it is not bad on the wallet either.

Run of the mill light beer. I'm a fan of Miller Lite... so I decided to spend a few dollars and check this out. Not bad...not great either. It's a great buy for the money, though. If I was still in college and on a strict "beer budget" this would be the beer of choice. Thank goodness, though, that I'm not and that I can buy better beers. I'd say it's about average. As I said... Not bad, but not great either. Don't get me wrong... I bought a 12pk for $5 and change...I enjoyed all $5 worth. There are better beers out there, though.
