I cannot believe I’ve never reviewed Miller Lite before. Well, I suppose I can believe it. It’s another forgettable adjunct lager—in the best and worst of ways. Thin, yellow, fizzy, with a lite aroma and low flavor. Drink it cold.

Great beer in my opinion. We are talking about the light beer category and I consider Miller Lite one of the best Lite beers out there in my respectful opinion from the mass produce companies. It has great taste for a light beer, it stands out against it's usual suspect competitors of Bud Light and Coors Light. Very crackery taste and white bread as well as a little corn, it's my go to if I am drinking a light beer.

History lesson about Miller Lite, it was once called Meister Brau Lite which was a Chicago brand. I happen to live in Chicago. Miller acquired them when they went bankrupt and re-branded the name. Meister Brau invented light beer technically, but Miller is still using the original recipe to this day of Meister Brau. So all the Wisconsin people, you are drinking a Chicago recipe just a heads up. =)

Yet another mass produced, cheap American lager beer that should have never seen the 21st century. Uninteresting, bad taste, bad smell and no alcohol. As far as being a tailgating favorite, why would I want to have to find a place to pee every 30 minutes while trying to drink 12-18 of these abominations to get a buzz?

Pours golden yellow with a 1/2 inch white head, which dissipates.

Aroma is malty, grainy, grassy.

Taste is malty, grainy, corn, rice.

Thin bodied, light carbonation. Semi-sweet finish.

It is what it is, A light American Pilsner. Quaffable in a pinch.

I drink this stuff when I’m desperately trying to get drunk. I legit have to be at the point of trying to embarrass my taste buds. So this isn’t the worst, by far better then coors light.

I like this. Recently tried it. I like it! Not too hoppy, and easy to take down. The taste is a little funky in my opinion, but otherwise a good beer.

A fine pilsner beer? I am not sure if that still holds true. It’s crisp crushable and goes down like water. Drink a case of it at a tailgate type of beer. I prefer high life when choosing a miller product. It’s a lite beer that is lite in taste, smell, look, and feel which represents the style well.

It's lite beer - lite taste, lite finish, mild aftertaste. This beer was built for the masses looking for low cal, light beer taste and carbonation. In the class it was built for it's good.

Poured from a cold bottle:

Head disappeared almost immediately. No lacing. Smells like something spilled in my fridge and then fermented. Very little hops flavor, but leaves a stronger-than-expected aftertaste. That said, I do find the carbonation and overall feel to be the most refreshing part about it. If it’s cold, it’s drinkable, maybe even chug-able. One more positive thing I have to say about it is that you probably won’t get bloated after 3-4 of them unless you’re sensitive to any of the ingredients.

Basically, if I feel like having a cold beer on a hot day, but I only have a few dollars to spend, then I might go for one or two of these on draft for $2.50 each or whatever, maybe pair it with an order of fries or a pretzel or something.

A light refreshing beer that tastes like beer and allows me to fit in to my clothes. No , it’s not a craft beer, but if I only drink those I will need to go shopping for a whole new wardrobe.

This is one of the worst beers I've ever had. 1 inch head goes down in less than 10 seconds. No carbonation bubbles. Smells like rotten eggs and cheap hops. Initial taste is alright, but has a urine aftertaste. Feels like drinking club soda. Hard to believe a pilsner is worse than Coors light. Not a pilsner. Not beer.

This traditional light pilsner has a yellow clear color with a 1/4 inch head when poured from a bottle. It has a clean malt aroma. And a crisp faint creaminess that flavors best with a barbecue burger or smoked pork sandwich. Reminded that it is a light beer it finishes as just that, light body and less fullness.

Again, swimming in the river Hades - or as some know it: Blondie’s Saloon in Orange, CA.

Kind of hard to rate the appearance or aroma on this thing as I am chugging it straight from the bottle. Kind of like looking at a Monet on acid; yeah, maybe next time. Taste though, you know what? It’s not that bad. It’s bready and a bit crisp like snapping your crushe’s bra in the 8th grade (wtf Raul)?

Anyway, this may not make me dream the most beautiful of things, but I’m not defeated. I am content.

Looks - not good enough for pouring out of the metal pint, so 3
Smells faintly of beerishness or corn pop seltzer
Lightly sweet, corny, minimal flavor
Feel is the best thing about it.
For its type (factory sadness juice) it's good ,but all these adjunct mega-lager liquids haven't got much real beer in them.
at 33-35F it is drinkable

This is even worse than Bud Light. This is so “Lite” that it’s like club soda (ie. carbonated water) with faint traces of some bitterness, that’s all. The bitterness is the kind you leave at the bottom of a can, lukewarm and tasteless. If you mix it with soda you get this beer.
On the other hand, it was okay with the Sasebo burger at Log Kit, at least it was so light that it was even lighter than an orange soda. Guess I don’t have to drink it again.

Miller Lite, 4.17% ABV. Pours pale yellow with a three finger white foamy head. Nose is malt, taste is almost nothingness. Mouthfeel is good. Overall good. I've had a half-bazillion of these, but have never reviewed it before. It gets points for being fresh, cold, and free.

Regardless of what others say, I believe this to be the best (and first) of the domestic light lagers. Its the light beer that tastes the most like actual beer. Lite has an actual hint of hops, which none of the other macro domestic lights do. Bud light is essentially the water out of a can of corn, with a little alcohol added. Coors light has no flavor at all. Yuengling light, though I'm a fan of their other beers, doesn't have a beer taste at all. Its more like cardboard with a slight hint of plastic. when I want a light beer and actually want to fool myself into thinking I'm drinking beer, which is whenever I buy light beer, I buy Miller Lite. Best in class, for whatever its worth.

Nice Average Beer for a Guy or Gal to sit back and enjoy.
I love my Imperial IPAs and Czech Pilsners, but sometimes a light american lager gets you back to basics. There's not a whole lot to discuss when it comes to flavor however, these beers are not make to be fussed over. might I add, No beer is made to be fussed over. Light American Lagers are great because they are simple, easy going, pair with any kind of meal and situation. The look is pale, pale light gold. Smell is bready and yeasty like a summer night party. The taste is simple and clean. Low level of sweetness, slight hint of metallic character. Nice white bread and yeasty pizza dough quality. refreshing and somewhat crisp. goes down without any hop flavor but makes up for it with a dry finish. The feel is awesome when you get this beer super chilled down. nice and velvety, bubbly, sparkly. Overall, yeah Its not a IPA. Miller isn't trying to sell it as such. Its a AMERICAN LIGHT LAGER. Its not made to be bold. My only beef with Miller is the label calling it a "Fine Pilsner". Its not a Pilsner. Again, it a Light Lager. If you are strictly a Craft Beer drinker, Dont review this beer.

Remember the first beer you funnel-chugged at your university. Remember that time your 4th fake finally worked, and you proudly walked out with a case of liquid gold. Was it some sort of microbrewery sour rhubarb whatever? Was it some strange nitro oatmeal stout with hints of hazelnut and leather pants? No. It was simple. Pure. Miller Light. It’s the intangibles. So what if it isn’t fancy or new or from Belgium? They’re not selling taste, they’re selling nostalgia.

From the can, it pours a clear light golden color with a large white head that slowly diminishes as you watch. In the nose, it is very light, er Lite, in scent. In the mouth, the same. Best after a long hot day.

L;. Pours a straw yellow with a large fizzy white head that dissipates quite quickly, leaves some lacing on the glass.

S:. Grain and sweet apple mix with a light hop. Not offensive but not inviting either.

T:. Grain, sweet apple, a hint of hop. Very light.

F:. Light body, crisp.

O:. Not as bad as some of the other cheaper options.
