Pale gold. White, soapy head, no retention.
Smells like carbonated water and bad memories.
Tastes vaguely of “beer”, malt, light, but harsh bitterness, slightly metallic taste. Overall, very weak flavor.
Used to be my favorite in the 1980’s thru the mid 90’s. I can barely stand to drink it now. I guess it be ok to soak brats or hotdogs in. It’d also be ok for Michealdas.

Can (tasted alongside other adjunct lagers in a tasting):
visible carbonation in the bronzed yellow body, nice white, fairly creamy head. A nice, "beer-like" smell with something resembling light grass hops, but with an extra does of staleness. Taste and feel is a bit watery, but has a hint of toast and finishes without a lot of sweetness

Useful as the perfect 'Refresh Beer' in between drinking more substantial beers, or perhaps at the end of a session drinking evening. In the light beer category, I would consider it one the more acceptable choices - Miller has done it's homework. It's 's not really awful like many of the other contenders, some of which can be quite nasty. If you are in the mood for a light beer , with a reasonably close beer taste- it's probably just about right.

I've probably had this before, but never reviewed, so here goes. 12oz can best by 6/5/23. Clear golden color with a couple inches of foamy white head. Faint grain smell. Light body. Tastes of grain with some malty sweetness and a weird cardboard finish. Probably best to chug this as cold as you can get it.

Pours out of the can a pale gold with a fizzy, quickly dissipating head. Smells like a faint maltiness and sweet corn. Tastes very watery and stale, while being quite carbonated. So it's not flat, just not a ton of flavor that keeps me wanting more, just wanting different. It's just like the can says. It's fine.

Situation: Son home from school, bought a case of it, didn't go out as much as he thought he would while home, so now it's my problem I guess.
Review: Figured this might be a good morning shower beer since it has the reputation of being tepid swill, and upon drinking I can say without hesitation that it totally lives up to the rep. I figured since I was in the shower I could pee it out immediately and move on with my day, but halfway through the can I realized I could save myself the trouble and just dump it down the drain, which I promptly did.
Rating:
Pro: Better than Bud Light
Con: Worse than piss

Pale gold, crystal clear, pours with a fizzy white head that fades to a few wisps and a small collar
Not much in terms of aroma or flavor, but that is appropriate for the style, some light maltiness, hints of malt extract, slightly sweet corn, touch of bitterness, touch of something slightly sour, lingering sweetness
Light body, crisp, medium carbonation
I swear I reviewed this beer about 10 years ago, back when I made a concerted effort to review a bunch of BMC beers. I reviewed Keystone Light but forgot about Miller Lite? Miller Lite is simultaneously the best of the "big three" light beers but also my least favorite. Miller Lite has the most flavor, but that is not necessarily a good thing. If I want the classic "Miller" flavor, I would drink about 6 bottles of High Life before buying this again. Bud Light tastes like bubbly corn water and Coors Light tastes like virtually nothing at all when cold. I think Miller Lite rubs me the wrong way because it is more reminiscent of a beer I would rather be drinking. Whatever.

I rate this high because it to this day is the only piss light that almost tastes like an actual beer. It almost explodes in your mouth it almost has full body and it almost satisfies you. Almost.

My favorite big chain, pale lager. On a major scale comparing shitty beers, this is the best all around. On a broader scale comparing EVERYTHING, this beer is at the top tier of shitty. Miller lite will always hold a special place in my heart.

exceeds at being what it's made to be. it's a miller high life, but lighter. the finish leaves the same notes, yet looks the same in the glass. does make me yearn for a MGD.

Poured from a 12oz can best by Oct 10 2022
On the pour a nearly 2 finger lightly fizzy head formed and left some surprisingly decent lacing. Body is a darker golden straw carbonation is high but fine.
Aroma is malty, adjuncty, and has a bit of that cheap lager funk to it. I want to say I can detect hops similar to a pilsner but it's definitely leaning more toward cheap AAL. Not great, but for the style it's pretty good.
Taste is similar to MHL. A bit too sweet but relatively clean and light apart from the adjunct. Not a lot of bitterness but there is a very light hint. Not offensive not great but way better than coors light. This is light enough that I can taste carbonic acid like in a seltzer.
Feel is carbonated, relatively dry and easy drinking. A bit bigger than your average light beer, and with a longer finish. Completely average and it does its job.
Overall for a BMC light beer this is pretty good. Certainly not mind blowing but I'd get this again. Miller always seems to do better Than Bud and coors (even tho Miller is owned by coors in the US now but whatever)
