poured a light yellow color with monstrous white puffy head. Smell is very non-offensive with only a slight sweetness noted. Taste is non-spectactular with only a slight sweetness present. Finished wet and refreshing. Good spacer. At least it doesn't taste bad.

Looks very pale, clear with a very mild white foam head, almost no retention. Aroma is malty, sweet with hints of noble hops. Taste is better than other light beers, it tastes like mild beer, not fizzy water. Light body with medium carbonation.

I was a Budweiser drinker for many years before getting into craft beers. I hadn't had a Bud in several months before buying a 24 oz bottle for rating purposes. At the same time, I also bought a 24 oz Miller Lite even though I did not care for Lite when I was drinking BMC. A couple of days ago I had and rated the Budweiser. Tonight, I rated the Lite.

Its funny, after several months of nothing but good microbrewery beers, you'd think your taste buds would have developed and you would notice a huge difference between Bud and Miller Lite. Nope, they tasted identical, like they came out of the same vat. I won't bore you with the details, read the Bud review if you are interested, they're the same down to the aroma. Neither beer is a bad beer, there are just a lot better out there. And I have to give some props to Miller Lite after all these years of neglecting it in favor of Budweiser.

Out of a can. Decanted into a large flute.

Appearance: Bright golden yellow. Small head, but I have to say it is thick and frothy.

Smell: Metallica, lemon rinds...doesn't have a strong scent

Taste: Tight and crisp carbonation. Tastes of stale lemons, cheap hops, corn, huskiness.

Mouthfeel: Skunky...and this beer is fresh.

Drinkability: This is a beer for "girls". Its easy to drink only because it has so little taste.

This is just "another american macro beer". To bad the amount of money spent on advertising couldnt generate a better beer. Look this beer is golden in color, clear with decent carbonation. The smell and taste is dominated by grain/barley. The mouthfeel is fine. After any sporting activity or workingin thehot sun....this beer tastes great....but when compared to others....not so much.

What is there to say about Miller Lite? Nothing, really. It's just so bland. Which is okay in certain situations. But, most of the time you would be better served by something else. If nothing else though, it can say that it's better than Bud Light... which... doesn't say much.

A: Typical adjunct lager see through yellow.

S: Wet grain.

T: Pretty smooth and easy drinking. Very watery. Bit more flavor compared to Coors or Bud.

M: Nice easy drinking with nice carbonation. Crisp refreshing finish.

O: Pretty much made to get drunk with. Watered down to the point that it is like beer flavored liquid instead of beer. No odd taste like Bud though which helps it.

12 oz left in the fridge after a Thursday night party... oh well .. here it goes... poured it into my shape SA glass.

Aggressive pour.. shot lasting.. 1/2" head... no lacing. no cap.. no collar.. brew is very very pale yellow.

aroma is light grain and a little bit of cooked corn.. very lite at that.

flavor is very light pale malt.. and again some corn off flavor.. if there are hops used in this brew.. I can't pick them out.

body is very light with quite a bit of carbonation.. drinkability is fairly high... if you're into this.

I am only going to review this on style guidelines.. so don't think I actually like this.

surprisingly, the beer i like the least growing up ends up being the one with the best flavor to me now...

A- clear pale golden yellow with a frothy white head, bad retention, a lace, and rising bubbles.

S- pale malt, corn, ahy toasted grains, cereal, and very soft pear lemon hops.

T- green apple, pear, lightly toasted breakfast cereal taste, dry straw a little bit of citrus hops, and clean finish.

MF- light and fizzy, crisp and clean, a little more body than the others.

D- actually, it's not that bad, i can finish this draft with ease, maybe the frosted mug helps. as a matter of fact, since there's nothing better to drink, i'll order another one.

Poured a see thru piss yellow with a finger of head that dissapated quickly and left some decent lacing on the glass. I definitely get aromas of various grains and water off the bat but also get faint malt and wheat notes. This a very thin and watery beer with grains as the dominate factor on the taste which has a little malt but that's about it; very bland flavor. The beer was super thin in body with a good amount of carbonation that had a grainy watery and slight crisp finish. The beer drinks very good because its so damn watery which makes for a great session beer and also a brew you can have lots of in the hot summer day. Oh....and the only reason I'm reviewing this beer is to gain beer style points cause I need to review a light lager.

Poured from the can into a pilsner glass

A - Pours a perfectly transparent light straw with tons of carbonation rushing to the frothy, three-finger, white head. Head is reduced to a ring of bubbles about half way down the glass. Leaves behind several substantial splotches of lacing.

S - Just a hint of slightly stale corn adjusts upon opening the can, otherwise it may as well be sparkling water. In the glass, just a hint of cereal adjuncts.

T - A bit of cereal malt upfront. The body is exceptionally clean with just a light happiness to balance out the subdued cereal grain notes. A bit more hop flavor as the beer passes over the back of the tongue leads to dry cereal adjunct and light hop finish.

M - Light bodied and highly carbonated. An iota thicker than soda water, but with a rather pleasant dryness.

The second of the big three I've reviewed. As with any cheap macro, my scores are scaled to reflect how well the beer achieves its intended style/objective. I must say that although appearance and aroma is somewhat lacking compared to bud light, the flavor is much cleaner and the mouthfeel benefits from an added dryness. This beer does a better job of hiding that it is based on cheap adjuncts and beats out Bud Light in my opinion. Overall, a middle-of-the-road Light American Lager.

Appearance: Pale yellow, decent head.

Smell: Not appealing, wet hay. Good thing I normally drink this straight from the bottle or can!

Taste: Light sweet bread flavor. Similar to MGD but less of it.

Drinkability: This is the tailgate beer, the keg party beer, etc. Drinkable by the gallon with few ill effects if you have prepared correctly.

Miller Lite, my secret shame, the beer I have probably had more of than any other since every tailgate, 75% of post-softball drinking, and most parties I go to serve this. It is pretty much water, but it is my favorite light beer.

As far as most people are concerned, there are three 'big name' domestic lights: Bud Light, Coors Light, and Miller Lite. I think Miller comes out on top of the others but that doesn't make it a great beer. We picked up a 20 pack of bottles for a tailgate yesterday and it did the job just fine. As one poster recently mentioned, it is a pretty clean beer. It has much more flavor than Coors Light and is smoother than Bud Light (in my taste anyway). The drinkability is pretty good. I'm able to put away quite a few if I want to because of how smooth it is for a cheap domestic. To put it simply, it's an average beer.

decide to give this beer a whirl since a family member left behind a couple at christmas.
poured from a can into a pilsner glass . a translucent color with a head that sticks to the glass when it fades. grainy smell when it comes to taste first comes the corn then not much of a after taste .

Looks a pale golden color. Little bit of head if poured straight down center of glass.

Smells like corn.

Taste is on the light side (it is a light beer) and is a bit watered down but does have some malty flavor and corn aroma.

Mouthfeel is light and carbonated. It is not particulary strong in taste but is consumable.

The drinkability is easy when it comes to doing projects around the house and you need a cold one. Not necessarily one you would impress friends with but easy to drink on summer days.

I give Miller Lite a slightly higher overall score because it accomplishes its objective well; it's a cheap, ubiquitous macro beer that doesn't completely offend the palate. There are beers a whole lot worse than that.

Straw yellow. Bubbles rises slowly to surface, nice white pillowy head upon pour dissipates to a ring of foam with dotted lacing.

The smell of malt without much profile, hops? maaaybe, only for spice. more of a soggy barley and grain smell. cereal with malt smell. on the other hand, nothing offbase either
not much taste to speak of, watery, light pale malt, hint of corn

Carbonation is somewhat overbearing for a beer with practically no flavor whatsoever, but it does the best with what it has to work with. crisp finish

had this on-tap, bottle, kegs, 40's, can and so on. on drinkability, i'm going on two things. 1) for a light beer, i don't think it gets much better, which is saying a lot and a little at once 2) i could put many down with no complaint if that's the only brew on hand, best straight out the can or bottle, covers smell, eases drinkability

Had this by a buddy's house while we watched some of the USA vs. Ghana World Cup game. First time having this beer in months. I like this more than I like to admit; it's desperately inoffensive, goes down easy, you can drink it with dinner, and it isn't supposed to compete with other, more elaborate beers. Furthermore, it's a gateway beer to other, better offerings, and for that matter, is something I can session in between better beers.

And those who say this is worse than Coors, Coors Light, and Bud Light are outlandish.

Not bad but not good. I taste a lot of oats but not in a good way. It has no complexities and tastes just like weird flavored water. Couldn't tell you anything it tastes or smells like because it tastes that bad.

Well, this is graded apples to apples since it is a domestic light. Many do not grade that way, but I do. This beer pours a light golden color in a pilsner glass with average head. The smell is a bit dull. It has smell, but nothing interesting. The taste is a little salty. Not smooth and I would not drink this beer for mass consumption compared to other lights I have drank. Has a little after taste.

Verdict: Drink another light beer.

From the can, it tastes much like the bottle. Typical of American Pilsners, the brew is flavored with adjunct grains, but that's what makes it taste better than weaker lagers. Still quite malty sweet for the style with a rice or corn flavor and texture. Lightly vegetal. Hopped for earthiness and a bitter balance. The can seemed to give up a light metalic flavor that I found distracting. Though not very good, this is my usual 'ball-game' beer.

Had a few cans left over after a party at my place, figured its a beer(ish) might as well review it.

A: pours a crystal clear golden color with a giant white head that reduces to absolutely nothing. not a bad looking lager, but nothing spectacular.

S: smells a lot like metal, not much else, corn, not much else. typical light lager.

T: really watery, there is a faint taste of barely, mostly corn, but really this isn't that offensive of a beer, and for a the price i can see why a lot of people drink it.

M: thin, crisp, watery, bubbly, clean finish, pretty typical, begs for another drink with how crisp it finishes

D: i can drink a lot of this beer, its not the best tasting thing in the world, but it isn't that bad. definitely a bar beer when nothing else is available.

appearance-i drank a tall boy of it and i drank it out of hte can so i dont know what it looks like but its a light beer so im assuming its very clear, very carbonated, and very golden.

smell-smells like beer. noticable adjuct in the smell though

taste-tastes like beer. no hop flavors which doesnt suprise me since there arnt even real hops in here. the corn gives it a nice taste in my opinion

feel-very fizzy

overall-the best light beer ive had but ive only had bud light, busch light, miller lite, and heineken light. if your drinkin on a budget and trying to be healthy id go for a miller lite.

Appearance: Very pale yellow color with a fizzy white head.

Smell: Almost smells like a beer.

Taste: Kind of like a beer. This has decent flavor in the light beer world. Nothing really stands out, but the beer is refreshing and consumable.

Mouthfeel: Very light body that leaves me hanging.

Drinkability: Decent brew when the goal is to pound down a bunch of them. Good beer to slam down in the parking lot with the boys after work.

It's the perfect BBQ beer for me. It is crisp and refreshing in an ice cold bottle. Adversely, as this beer gets warm I tend to think it gets less appealing.
