I remember having one at a bar or restaurant or something a few months ago and it was indeed very good. ca. 2008

For more than four years this has been my standard light beer. I can bracket it with higher-end microbrews, or go exclusive microbrew and then return to it. Either way it holds up, and that increases the ranking. It’s not special in any single way, rather it’s satisfying in a trustworthy way. 2013/04/28

When I'm trying to lose weight, but not trying very hard, Miller Lite is my go-to.

The problem is, for me at least, that it's essentially the same deal as smoking ultra lights - it sort of fulfills the craving, but you need seven of them... so you actually drink/smoke more. Miller Lite just isn't very substantial - it's primarily water without a whole lot of taste or character. It's definitely clean and super sessionable though. Great for fishing, hiking, disc golf, rich person golf, etc.

It's not a shitty beer, but it sure as hell isn't a great one.

I drove all the way here and all you have for me is light beer! I like it and it once again a welcome break from all the overwhelming variety of craft brews! Still not as good as Hamm's though!

24 Oz Can poured into glass
Look - there is a commonality amongst this style of light beer and that is the color- they are pretty much all straw colored. The foam head fades pretty fast and there is some glass lacing which is a bit surprising
Smell - I know it is fresh beer but the aroma is musty and old-smelling as it if had been sitting in that can for 25 years. Along with that you do pick up corn, subtle sweetness and bread
Taste - Watery as expected but some decent flavor as well. Very tame hop profile but i can register it. The main flavor is just the adjunct grains, not overly sweet and carbonation is medium-high. Best macro light beer (Although i think Rolling Rock is better but not considered a light beer). I could drink this a couple times a year if i needed to..

Overall, not a whole lot to write about, it tastes like beer that has been injected with spring water. It doesn't have any off-flavors or too much sweetness, extremely drinkable and so i think its a good beer, i will give this a grade of B-

Ice cold pint can into NB globe

Look - Just about like any other AAL: pale straw hue, head dissipates to nothing, lots of carb bubbles streaming upwards. Standard for style, not super appealing.

Smell - Very light and sweet generic cereal graininess, light sulfur, light metallic and light vegetals/fruit. All this is barely perceptible, really - not good but not offensive either. Neutral.

Taste - Very neutral light cereal grains pervade, quite dry all around, vague apple/raspberry, mellow grassy hoppiness and cereal grains in the dry finish. Good balance, once again, very neutral and inoffensive flavor, but at least has some flavor.

Feel - Creamy smooth at first thanks to the effervescent carbonation, then turns watery because body is very light. Crushable.

Overall - I dunno, gang, I'm thinking this one is about as good as it gets when it comes to a light beer. I reviewed and rated this taking style into consideration as much as the beer at its face value. At only 96 calories (3.2g carbs) and 4.2% ABV, it actually has some flavor, and what's there isn't too shabby at all. Sure, it's light and watery, but c'mon man... it's a very light beer, and it fulfills the role really well by my estimation. Fantastic with any food really - super crushable. A great beer if you want to stretch out your drinking session and don't need something to think about too much.

For the American light beer category. 5 out of 5 for the style. For beer in general I give it a C- nothing bad about this beer at all. Very refreshing and has taste compared to some other light beer will pair with just about any kind grilling foods or sandwiches

Slow poured 16 oz can into a tall Willi Becher glass. Served very cold

The color of the beer is considerably darker than other lite beers. It is inviting with its rocky head (which sadly does not last long) and looking refreshing.

Smell is fairly mute, but smells like American mass lagers, plain and simple. Grains, light sweetness, some mild pilsner like qualities

Here, I gulp. The beer is ice cold and it is meant for thirst quenching, which it does well on. The flavor is quite promising for a light lager, and I see no real faults to speak of when the beer is this cold. Many will argue that a beer's worth is evident when the beer warms. Me, as an educated beer consumer, knows that American lagers should be served very cold for optimum enjoyment.

Carbonation is on point. Body is light as expected. Lacing holds on the glass in tiger patterns.

Decent beer for slugging on a hot day - and is really helping me keep the pounds off while I recover from a back injury.

Thank you, for that, Miller Lite. You're alright

Talking to a neighbor, he invited me over for a beer. We went over and sat in his garage and he handed me a Miller Lite. Drank from the can, so I can't comment on the appearance. I didn't notice an aroma. I don't like diet cola, and this tasted better than diet cola, pretty bland though, not much flavor. Mouthfeel was unremarkable. On a hot and sweaty afternoon, this might be kind of refreshing, but it's not what I would ask for. Afterward, I had kind of a thirsty feeling in the back of my mouth.

I have always enjoyed this beer. It’s light but not too light. A good beer for after yard work and at bbqs. Have had it on tap and bottles and cans. Always smooth and refreshing. Cheers.

Miller Lite is a pretty perfect beer for what it is, and it definitely does not deserve the low score it has here, just because it's one of the big boys.

Sparkling soft gold with a thick white head and clinging collar leaving drippy lace all around the rim.

Smell has hints of white grape and raspberry within primarily white bread and sweet corn overtones.

The medium body and unobtrusive, medium soft yet crisp carbonation delivers flavors of semi-sweet corn, grape and white wheat with faint accents of strawberry salt water taffy, finishing semi-dry. Somehow it remains balanced despite those descriptors, and is not too sweet or bready like many other mass market lagers, executing its purpose of being supremely drinkable admirably.

This actually is a great light beer. Good smell, light taste, and refreshing to drink. A wonderful party beer, with a clean finish. Much better than High Life with its weird, chemical lingering awful taste. Forget what all the beer snobs negative comments on Miller Lite are. They have no clue what a refreshing beer is.

Pale golden color, brilliantly clear as you'd expect. Pours a decent sized fizzy white head that disperses fairly quickly.

Very muted aroma, a soft sweetness that I can't definitively say is from grain. Clean once any initial stuff disperses.

Soft slightly sweet flavor, likely from grains or adjuncts. Carbonation is so high that the carbonic acid bite comes into play, probably doing as much as whatever hops are in this thing to provide a dry and very slightly bitter finish. If there are hops, they are hidden beneath the carbonation.

Light body, high carbonation as expected in the style. Lower carbonation would improve it.

Not a beer that I hate, given how clean the flavor profile is. A little less carbonation and a little more hops and they might have something.

Ok, I gave it a 3 overall because I had the beer during a hockey tournament in which I did well. Otherwise it is as I remember it a reasonable light lager that is boring but serviceable in certain circumstances - like hockey tournaments.

Stop with all the twisted panties! This is a light beer. Not an IPA. Not some Icelandic spring water purified concoction...LIGHT BEER. So, I like it...I take it for what it is. It’s the best light beer out there. :)

Pours a clear pale yellow color with a thin white head that keeps a little white ring about the glass. Smell is notes of corn syrup followed by hints of malts and a little grassy hop note. Taste follows, first with notes of corn syrup, followed by a little bit of grain and grass hop flavor. Some bitterness present. Finishes with a sweet corn flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. Taste is too sweet for me, there is a little too much corn flavor.

Drank from a 12 ounce glass bottle. Scoring is based on other macro lagers.

Look - The plain brown bottle is adorned with two white labels - a thin one high up on the neck with "Miller" and some other words, and the main label that clearly shows this as a "Lite" beer that is also "a fine pilsner beer." This was the beer of my parents, so I've seen this label and its previous iterations all throughout my life, and I've never come to enjoy it that much.

Smell - A very sweet artificial corn syrup scent hits you right away, but stick around long enough and it mellows out with some actual grain characters and a slight bit of grassy hops. Almost smells like a real pilsner. Almost.

Taste - Sweet and corny as you'd expect from the initial smell. Real one note, but nowhere near the levels of poorness some people say it has. I was shocked, and actually really preferred the taste of this to High Life.

Feel - Thin body and very mild carbonation. Super easy to drink, doesn't fight back going down. Straight out of the cold fridge, it was incredibly refreshing to drink just sitting around outside on a warm summer night.

Overall - This was my first time drinking a light beer, and with all the slander surrounding the style, I was surprised to find it as enjoyable as I did. A quality macro brew.

L - can't knock a clean bubbly top, seriously looks great on a warm day
S - not much going as far as any aroma, it's again clean and crisp, faint wheat
T - lite for sure, crushable on a warm day and can really hit the spot. flavor is lacking but I'm pretty sure its supposed to be this way as I'm no lager expert, just not what I normally go for
F - honestly mouthfeel is great, I'm not worried about the abv catching up to me
O - a staple of mine in college, times have changed for sure but when options are limited, this is my go to

Look: Hazy urine with a lot of carbonation and a barely there white head.

Smell: Barely perceptible corn and citrus.

Taste: Corn and rice adjunct everywhere. Sweet and plain, with no hops anywhere.

Mouthfeel: A little thick and decently carbonated.

24 ounce can into lager glass, best before 6/11/2018. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a small fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit too fruity aromas, but not overpowering. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and light earthy hop notes; with decent strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/grains and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin, but not watery finish.Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a very solid light lager. All around good robustness of pale malt/grains and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Nicely flavorful for the low ABV. Clean pale malt/grains and decent earthy hop balance. Definitely one of the better macro light beers available. An enjoyable offering.

Strong corn flavor. Fairly carbonated. Some reviewers said it has a slightly soapy finish, which I can ever so slightly taste, but it doesn't bother me. Excellent ABV to Kcal count (4.17 to 96kcal), that's almost the same ratio as hard liquor like whiskey or vodka, and that's the whole point of light beer anyways.

Miller Lite is one of the better American-produced light beers, but that's also like saying getting punched in the face is better than getting kicked in the junk. Will you watch the waste line with this? Yeah, probably, but the flavor is non-existent and this is one of those beers that's more popular because it's cheap instead of being popular because it's good.

I am furious to read all of the terrible ratings for this beer... Miller lite, as a very seasoned craft brew drinker, is an OUTSTANDING light beer. All of the American popular go-to session beers are shitty lagers (yuengling is a decent exception) and Miller Lite is a Pilsner that is in the same ballpark, but is tremendously better. Honestly, Miller lite is one of those beers that if I literally had to choose one single beer that I could only drink the rest of my life, I may choose it (although, a % or 2 higher abv would make it an immediate choice). I think Miller is complex and perfected considering its position in beer. It’s not amazing to anyone really, other than the fact that it’s so refreshing and delicious to someone who loves a standard, regular beer flavor, and it’s so light you could drink them all day. It’s so crisp and delicious in the context wherein it lies. People need to stop rating it for shit because it’s a “lazy brew from a corporate conglomerate”. Well, that’s not untrue necessarily, but that fact does not make this beer bad or anything less than what it should be to veteran beer enthusiasts. It is beyond expectation for what it is and what it’s intended for as far as drinking goes. This beer is a beautiful pioneer of the beer culture in America. Bud light sucks bud heavy sucks, Budweiser overall just kinda sucks... coors is ok, Miller is incredible in comparison... even against yuengling which I also quite like. Surprisingly, I never buy cheap or light beer besides cervezas and Miller. I am a craft brew connoisseur. I love my IPAs, stouts, porters, Sours. Pale ales, literally every category, yet Miller is still a great standard for light beer and always a go to I can drink at anytime. Please stop rating this brew out of context and bashing it. The condescending shit review that’s at the top of this page was really getting to me, because Miller lite is a beautiful beer for what it is. And I love high life almost equally and it’s soooooo cheap.

16oz can bb 2/18/18 consumed ice cold from the can. The beer looks like most AAL, you've probably seen it before, but I can't right now. The aroma is actually ok with a little bit of sweet corn and a hint of vague hops. The taste is watery malt, some vague hops and some off taste of butter. The mouthfeel is thin bodied, well carbonated and mostly dry in the finish. There is a definite oily/ soapy finish that ruins the experience for me. Overall, average AAL. I've had much worse and also had better.

Utter hogwash swill. Essentially in the most comprehensible of terms a can of the poor mans piss. Tastes like my mums unwashed arsehole after a day in the blistering summer sun when I'm being punished for being bad. Never have I not enjoyed the salty particulate of feces so much as when I consumed this beer. Heed my warning mates, at all costs avoid this rather unsavory brew or have ur tastebuds rendered to this shitting orfice of a cow
