Clear, pale straw color with a thick white head that leaves decent lacing. Light crisp, grassy hops in the aroma with just a kiss of malt sweetness. Much stronger corn sweetness in the taste than the nose suggests. That's the defining character with just a hint of hop bitterness behind. Light bodied with good carbonation in the feel. As a pilsner, this is awful, but as a light lager it's fine. Light, refreshing, just a bit too corny.

Look - Poured from a can, clear yellow, thin ring of lacing, visible carbonation.

Smell - Corn, faint oatmeal, not much else

Taste - Corn grits, grainy body, very mild

Feel - Thin body, crisp, lots of carbonation.

Overall - Above average for a light beer, I wouldn't turn one down on a hot day.

So I am in Ruston, Louisiana and wanted to have a beer in the hotel and the gas station across the street had limited options. I never drank a lot of this, although it was always around.

Yes, it is corny and bland, but it is not offensive and quite easy to drink. I can see why unimaginative people flock to ths. It would require a ton of them to get a solid buzz, but would not require much work.

One of the fairly decent adjunct beers of the macro mill.
Look is a golden yellow.Fizzy white head that dissapates down rather quickly.
Smell is of grains, and corn, mildy skunky, but taste isn't what you expect by the smell.

Taste is watered down of course, but there is pleasant sweetness, with a slighty bitter hopiness. Feel is mild carbonation. Thin and watery.

Now, this not a beer i think of when i think of a great beer. However, its good on a hot lazy summer day floating the river or mowing the grass. You can really pound these down, espicially if its on tap. And thats it. If i want to sitdown and relax, id go to my IPAs or begium ales. But like i said, on a hot day in the sun, this would be my go to beer for that time.
It's simply a no frills beer that will get the job done, but nothing to rave about.

Comparing only NA beers, BUD Light and Miller Lite, not my favorite Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
The color was a nice golden yellow.
This beer poured with a 2 finger head.
It gave off a nice light beer aroma from the head.
The taste was that of beer malt and hops flavored seltzer water.
The overall taste and body was that that of a light beer with a slight taste of corn
