12oz can served in a shaker pint glass. Date stamp on can: Dec 05 16 F08071724.

Appearance: Bright pale yellow. 1/4" initial foam slowly died back to a thin skin across the top. Persistent foam sticking to the glass. I hesitate to call it lacing - there is some aspect of lacing to it, but there is also a lot of a foam "smear" sticking to the glass as well.

Smell: Little aroma. A bit of corn and grass.

Taste: Little flavor as well. A bit sweet with corn and a very light bitter finish. Otherwise clean.

Mouthfeel: Good carbonation with a crisp and dry finish. Good thickness.

Overall / Drinkability: A nothing special beer. Worked well to wash down a pinto bean burrito, but nothing I would go out of my way for. A mostly boring beer. Not bad, just not very interesting or flavorful.

People hate on American Lagers, but for the price of this one it is fantastic!

First beer I ever drank and my grandpa's favorite from WW II . I am home brewer and craft brew fanatic, but I still enjoy the High Life!

12 ounce can poured in to a pint glass.
Vibrant yellow/gold body with perfect clarity. A two finger white foamy head that dissipated quickly.
Husky, corny aroma. Faint grain.
Corn and grain in the taste. A little heavy with the sweetness for me. Touch of hops in the end.
Medium body. Surprisingly full for the style, or heavy, depending on how one looks at it. Fizzy carbonation. Semi-dry finish.
It has been a while since I have had Miller. It would suit me better if it wasn't so heavy handed with the corn but overall it is very nice for the style. And cheap!

I'm reaching for the low hanging fruit here. Bear with me.

A: pale gold, crystal clear, effervescent head that fizzes similarly to soda but not quite as intense. Very, very little lacing.
S: Kind fruity and a tiny whiff of greenish hops, but this beer often has a skunky aroma, even when canned (which is what I drank). Not great.
T: Corny. Kind of has a wet newspaper flavor in the back. Metallic. A little bit bitter and tiny hop taste.
F: Goes down smooth. A little bit foamy but it's easy to slam, so I guess that's a plus.

Overall: beer made for chugging. Champagne of beers maybe in the sense that it's fizzy as all get-out. Don't get hung up in the subtle aromas and complex flavors, because they ain't here. It's easy to buy a couple tall boys and get buzzed, though. Honestly, I'd prefer Miller Genuine Draft or Budweiser to this, but I have good memories associated with this beer from when I was a kid coming up and drinking anything available.

To good health and good beer.

Most unethical brewing around, it may have been good in the 60s
Who knows I was not around, I once decided I liked this beer,
That was a mistake, I may have gotten 3 out of the 30 Twelve packs I got that was actually quality, the rest was complete tasteless garbage, Inconsistancy at its best. This beer is garbage you may as well be drinking anything else at this price, even coors banquet is leaps and bounds better than this rubbish, spend the extra dollar and enjoy something consistant.
