I know that it remains popular, but it just doesn't do much for me.

One of my fav macros. This is for of "men of the 70's". Looks great in that bottle. Tastes pretty good when you want something to go with your mustache and Camaro. Sophisticated!

Usually don't see these in cans at all. The service station where I bought these had one sixer on the shelf and for a very affordable price. The clerk behind the counter seemed indifferent. I got home and popped the top. The first few sips made me chuckle. I smiled as I poured the contents into a clean glass. The appearance was typical of Miller products. A golden yellow. The beer smelled of grains and a very faint smell of what I could only imagine corn. The taste was there but very faint until I started getting to about the middle. Typical mouth feel. Over all crisp, clean, and refreshing.

24oz tallboy into tulip

Look - Your typical AAL: bright yellow, a little wispy foam sticks around after the pour, not too different in any way from others in-style.

Smell - Reminds me of MGD with a unique aroma of musty earth or paper pulp, must be a Miller thing. Perhaps also a whiff off grassy hops and cooked veg is present. Slightly grainy with a whiff of apple.

Taste - Not much going on, typical of AAL, but nothing terribly offensive either: mild, musty corn graininess up front, slight cooked veg, restrained sweetness, slightly grainy in finish with a touch of dry hop bitterness to balance.

Feel - Effervescent carb helps this beer go down smooth with a crisp medium-light body, unfortunately it's oddly slick feeling on the finish, then turns watery.

Overall - One of the most average AALs I've had so far, everything about it says "just ok" yet nothing about it is too offensive either. Nice price for a decent beer though.

poured from tank can into weizen glass, gold color with high carbonation and a small but actual head
isnt very aromatic but has a sweet smell
the lager taste is adjunct but you can taste some real malt in there, similar to pbr etc.
the mouth feel is the impressive thing about this beer, lots of carbonation tingles the mouth
overall a really good beer for the price range

You can’t really beat this for the price. Classic American beer, very drinkable. My go-to beer when I want something simple.
