look: 4.25 | smell: 2.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 5 | overall: 5

Look - Pours a crystal clear golden yellow color, a finger of rocky white head, surprisingly good retention.
Aroma - Simple syrup, maybe some corn. Not a whole lot going on.
Taste - Grainy, pale malt, not as sweet as most malt liquors, clean dry aftertaste. Starts out like a typical lager but finishes like an ice beer.
Feel - Medium bodied, dry, lots of carbonation. Not syrupy at all.

Overall - Excellent malt liquor. Reminds me of myself... cheap, full of alcohol, but smooth as hell. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk.

Look: One finger white head, pale yellow body.

Smell: Mild breadiness, mild sweet corn, a slight suggestion of grassy hops.

Taste: See above.

Feel: Medium-light body, medium carbonation, slightly sweet upfront with a dry finish.

Other: Almost identical to PBR (but with more flavor), making this a decent low-budget beer.

Like a lot of the previous reviews, I will mostly lean on memories with this one, although I do have a forty sitting in front of me at the moment. Freshman year if you had big mouths in your fridge, it was a blackout night. Mickey's was all about attitude to me, back in college when I thought that was cool. The pissed off green bee seems to have mellowed in recent years, but maybe that's just me.

Mellow and corny without being offensive or oversweet. I still find this quite drinkable when you want to have an uberswill evening. It doesn't look or smell good. That's not the deal. Quite good at its job.

Light clear gold with an aggressive pour giving about three fingers of a soapy crackling head that drops quickly. Lots of visible carbonation as well.

Smells sweet, almost candy like sweet? Not much else coming through.

Not much on the taste. Seems to follow the nose with that strange sweetness.

Mouth feel is not to heavy (thankfully) and finishes fairly easy.

I can remember drinking this from the big mouth bottles during several days while me and my friend rebuilt the engine for his 1972 Javelin project. Did not seem so bad than while we were freezing our asses off in the middle of the Colorado winter attempting to build a muscle car. Nowadays as an adult fast forwarded to some 30 plus years past that date I would have to say this beer tastes like crap. I really cannot wait to finish this 24 oz. can so I can look for a real beer in the fridge. God bless Mickey's for the memories (my friend has since passed, a result of mental issues and suicide) but I think this is one worth burying.

Clear, pale golden colored pour, nice three-finger fluffy head that leaves a little spotty lacing. Pretty innocuous aroma, light maltiness with a little corn. There is a lot of sweetness on the palate, with flavors of corn and light malt and a hint of tart apple as it warms. Good carbonation. This has a rather odd slightly metallic aftertaste, with some lingering sweetness and astringence. Drinkable, an okay beer.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium golden yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint bright yellow + copper highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch if medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of cereal grain malts and corn adjuncts with a light amount of corn sweetness. Extremely light aromas of rice adjuncts and grassy hops.

T: Upfront there is a slightly heavier than moderate flavor of cereal grain malts with moderate flavors of corn + rice adjuncts. There is a light to moderate amount of corn/corn syrup type sweetness and just a hint of grassy hops which contribute a light amount of bitterness to the finish which fades away pretty quickly. Taste reminds me more of a Miller Lite product than a malt liquor.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Crisp.

O: Seemed only appropriate to have a "grenade" bottle of this malt liquor to finish out 2016... Reminds me of my younger days in the 1990s drinking BMC and malt liquors because there was not a lot of craft to be had/found and for some reason I always liked the packaging of Mickey's. Doesn't taste/smell any better or worse than I remember from my younger days and I probably won't be grabbing another, but thanks for the trip down nostalgia lane. Alcohol is actually well hidden making this easier to drink than some of the other malt liquors available and the smaller size is appreciated by older me.

A- clear pale gold color with a half ginger foamy head with semi-decent lacing. head runs off quickly though.

S- sweet corny malts

F- ugh...sweet stale malt with alcohol rounding it out.

M- sweet and grainy

O- well considering the style and brewery i am actually gonna say this is a decent brew. Not craft quality but surprisingly ok.
