I'm trying Bierland's Vienna poolside at the Bourbon Hotel in Foz do Iguacu Brazil. It poured a clear amber with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent is non-descript maybe some slight bitter hop. The taste is nicely balanced and very easy to drink. Reminds me alot of Sammy A. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall this is a solid beer.

Amber reddish color with lots of head with good retention and leaving laces.
Grainy aroma, with notes of light toasted malts, condiments and floral and earthy hops.
Spicy flavor, taste of slightly toasted malts with hints of caramel, guaranĂ¡ and grapefruit. Dry with a long lasting bitter and spicy aftertaste.
Medium body with medium carbonation and tiny bubbles.
Pleasant beer and faithful to style. Refreshing, flavorful with a fun sensation.
Best Bierland I tasted so far and very good for its style.

From a 600 mL bottle, thanks Jon,

A: Pours a clear amber with a light white head, spotty lace.

S: Nice sweet Vienna malt nose with some orange and citrus.

T: A fairly light overall flavour. Nice straight Vienna malt flavour with some grassy hops and lemon zest.

M: Light-bodied, crisp and clean with some biting carbonation.

O: Vienna Lager is a style you don't see too often so I was happy to try this as Latin America is well known for this style. An OK effort, but needs more depth of flavour.

Sergio, muito obrigado pela garrafa! 600 ml of Blumenau booze. On to the beer:

Shiny amber red in color with spotty lacing and retention on top. The nose is a bittersweet thing; it has some Oktoberfest character with the dark bread notes, and also some citric notes coming from the hops. Intersting.

Sweet and somewhat hoppy. By Brazilian standards, this is quite hoppy, but even an American palate can appeciate the lupulins in this beer. There's no shortage of malt sweetness, caramel bread comes to mind, and there's enough citric hops balance it out. The bosy is very light, especially as the carbonation dies down as it takes on a watery character, though still providing solid body and taste from the start. Still, there isn't much to be embarrased about in this offering.

I knew there was more to Bierland that just that pilsner. This is a nice little attempt at a Vienna Lager.
