Doesn't taste much on the initial sip, but has a really bitter IPA-like aftertaste. Very mediocre. Though I love Wisby beers normally. Lacks any deep flavor. It's just not much there. Feels high quality and crisp though. But a bit dissapointing for being WIsby.

April 2017: 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.0%. Crystal clear golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of floral hops. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is first fairly sweet, but ends in a pretty distinct bitterness. Could have been worse.

Pours a fairly clear amber with fine head.
Smell is bready and a bit crackery and floral. Notes of knäckebröd, citrus and rye.
Taste is bready, cracker and floral. Notes of knäcjebröd, citrus, rye and bit of butterscotch. Moderate bitterness, quite clean and crisp.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very good macro pilsner, drinkable and clean.

Had Wisby Pils in June 2017 aboard the SF700, the Destination Gotland ferry from Nynäshamn to Visby, poured from 33-CL. bottle, stamped best before "08.03.18," into clear plastic beer cup, and a couple of days later at Brygghuset Bar & Kök, Visby, on draft into large (1/2-liter?) pilstulpe.
A classic pour, light-gold with crystal clarity and a huge creamy near-white head that lasts and leaves excellent lacing. Aroma is pilsner malt, vanilla and tart fruit. Decent carbonation supports those same flavors, although the fruit is sweeter in the quaffing. A beautiful beer, but something is not quite right, perhaps that variable fruiting.

Bright and translucent pale straw color. Bone white, two finger head that disappears with some lacing in the wake. A lot of carbonation streaming up from the bottom. A good lager. Clean, crisp and light on the palate. Some grassy bitterness, and a dry, bready finish.
Not the most flavor and aromatic Pilsner but very good one. My personal opinion is that the 76 rating is too low.

Very refreshing but still has some off-flavors.
