April 2017: 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.0%. Black colour, moderate to low tan head. Moderate aroma of grain, dust and chocolate. Dry flavour of roast malts, coffee and cocoa / chocolate. A hint of smoke.

Really good. Balanced. Sweet with a little bitterness. Slightly perfumed aftertaste. Hardly any smokyness. Maybe a little too sweet for me, but stouts are generally sweet. One of the best stouts i've ever tried. Hands down. Will drink again.

Love this brew. Smooth, tasty, with a hint of anise aftertaste. Only bad thing is that I can't getbit in the states.

Average within this style I think, thin and dry, much like a porter but maltness is lower.
I personally like stronger stouts though.

Looks like a stout just like everyone else. Foam is good, although it doesn't stay for long.
Smell is not that impressive. Does not trigger any poetry from me.
It tastes just ordinary, what you would expect from a brewery trying to be something they are not. A little too acidic for my taste, but the dark malt notes are just as they should be. Even Spendrups can't get everything wrong.
Mouthfeel is way too thin. This is not what I am looking for in a stout.
