Bought this at party source because I'd never seen it before. Pours a cloudy amber out of a really cool looking can. Not very much head, but decent lacing. Mostly malt forward aroma with very little hop presence. The taste is much hoppier than I expected. Not in the same league as some other pale ales, but a really good balance of flavors with a little bit of earthy flavored hop bite. I will definitely buy this beer again. This was a great find.

I've tried Pale Ales before and some of them are excessively bitter, this one is very well balanced, it has a nice aroma and overall is real good. Recommended Mexican beer.

A pleasant, well made pale ale, but more conservative and not so much on the hoppy side.

12oz bottle, served at Club de la Cerveza in Playa del Carmen. Poured into a pint glass; pour is a darker orange-caramel body with a one finger white head, good retention. No lacing. Darker than expected for a pale ale, but still. Smells of rich English caramel, floral and resinous aromas, touch of grapefruit. Flavour is an interesting mix of hop and malt with caramel, toffee, grapefruit, and floral notes. Touch of resin finishes things off. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, appropriately carbonated, nice complexity and depth although without much hoppy punch to it.

This beer is super carbonated. It actually foamed out of the bottle quite a bit when I opened it. When you actually are able to, it pours a light brown color (actually pretty dark for a pale ale) with a huge rocky white head. The body is somewhere between light and medium, but definitely on the heavy end for a pale ale. The smell is bready and a faintly citrusy lemon scent. It is very malty with a nice bready and fairly strong caramel flavor with a faint citrus aftertaste. It also has some pretty strong hop presence that gives it a pretty bitter aftertaste. Though classified as an English pale ale, I think this tastes more like a pale ale done in the style of SoCal with a little more malt presence. I am pleasantly surprised by this. I thought Mexico and craft beers an odd combination, but it’s actually pretty good if a little pedestrian and not quite as polished as some of the actual SoCal pales it emulates.

Amber color with a thin head with medium retention.
Light aroma with notes of papaya, some citrusy and bread malt.
Flavor is much more interesting and bolder. Notes of papaya, spices, American yeast, toasted malts, some pine and mild grapefruit. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light to medium body.
Good English Pale Ale. I meant it felt more English (its base) than American.
