A very sweet IPA. Tasty, but not what I expected. Light orange, plently of head and lace, smell is ALL malt, taste is mostly malt, bitter is there and some booze. Almost direction of a barleywine. I like it though.

Poured from 12 oz bottle.

Look is hazy copper with off white head that leaves a nice lacing.

Smell is kind of dank, piney. Hints of grapefruit.

Taste follows smell, and is sweeter than bitter. Maybe more like an American pale ale that typical IPA.

Feel is medium bodied, well carbonates and slightly sticky. Good long finish but the bitterness never shows up. The malts do however.

Overall, it's certainly on of the best Mexican beers I've had, and could hold up on shells in the states.

Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma has earthy hops and caramel malts. Green, leafy hops on the taste, quite bitter up-front. Earthy and resiny mostly. Soft body with medium carbonation. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Quite nice and easy to drink overall. Alcohol is really well hidden too.

Bright amber color with a thick frothy head with great retention and leaving laces.
Nice aroma with notes of passion fruit juice, peaches and biscuit and caramel malts.
Bitter flavor with notes of grapefruit, resin, herbal-pine, spices, slightly toasted malts, some earthiness, perfume, lime and American yeast. Quite dry aftertaste with a long lasting bitterness.
Light to medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 7.5% couldn't be better disguised.
Decent American IPA from Mexico, not bland as usual here that tend to tune down all styles. Ps. later I found out the cutting edge breweries.
This is not unique, but faithful to style, with some complexity and bold enough. Worth trying.

L- Hazy amber body and a big fluffy white head with long retention.
S- Grapefruit and malt grains, a bit weak.
T- Piney and floral, orange rind, grapefruit. Fairly bitter.
F- Smooth, medium carbonation.
O- Piney bitterness is a bit too much. Needs a slight balance adjustment. Fairly good nonetheless.

Light in color and even described on the bottle as "cerveza clara." Very molasses-heavy in aroma and flavor with a sweet, floral bitterness that is the only suggestion of an IPA as we know it en el norte.

I find it tastes much like the heavily malted El Modelo or Negra but with more hop presence and something hinting at agave syrup. It's certainly unique and I must say even enjoyable to drink. However, the average hop head would not dig this beer for its malt-forwardness and sweetness.

Also, it should be noted that this is the best beer I've had in the past four days down here in Mexico.

Pours a cloudy orangeish color. Some visible sediment. Decent head. Smell is delicious. Taste and mouthfeel are both good, a lot of citrus flavors for an IPA. Not a bad IPA, balanced and not overly hoppy. It's a little pricey at 5.99 a pint but a decent brew.

BB date Aug 2014. 330ml bottle poured into a glass.

A - Pours a huge off-white foamy head, near fills up the whole glass. Amber, sparkling with some medium sized particles floating about

S - Not so strong as other APAs. Mainly fruits (orange), honey and some pine/floral aroma,

T - Sweet malts and a slight citrus flavour up front and in middle, interspersed with a burnt grassy bitterness, and an almost sour metallic finish.

M - high carbonation, medium body, oily texture, alcohol content is mildly noticeable

O - Not too bad- interesting mix of sweet and bitterness, but a bit rough overall to be thoroughly enjoyable. Maybe I should have left the sediment out.
