Slightly hazy orange color. A few visible bubbles. Descent off-white head with poor retention and minimal lace.

Fresh citrus aroma, primarily orange.

Flavor of sweet orange with a grapefruit bitterness. Wheat malt character. Belgian yeast. Smooth and satisfying.

Lighter end of medium body. Smooth texture throughout. Good carbonation.

Solid wit. Well balanced, tasty and easy to drink.

Appearance: Cloudy golden, with a flat, almost-no-carbonation pour. Thus, no lace, either. As with their Tornado Alley Amber, this one begins poorly.

Aroma: Spicy, yeasty, herbal, perfumey, almost like a lavender note. Not bad, not great.

Taste: Brisk, with a tangy wheat and citrus vibe dominating, and the coriander spicing up around the finish. Not bad, but overall quite forgettable.

Pours to a limp white head that dissipates. Hazy yellow-orange. Aroma is sharp wheat, citrus and chablis. Flavor is orange, coriander and wheat malt as expected. Mouthfeel is light and moderate CO2. Overall, a decent beer that hits many of the style points.

I liked this beer it was a wonderful spin on a type of beer that is becoming all the trend. The bottle and packaging are fun. Overall it was a good beer and I can't wait until I get a chance to drink it again. Not the easiest beer to find though.

Appearance: There was not much for head or lace. It had typical wit color. Sort of gold and hazy the top was darker than the bottom.

Smell: The scent started off grainy at first but then a strong wiff of orange and spice hit you all at once.

Taste: All the different flavors are noticeable distinct hops, wheat, orange and coriander flavors that come together in your mouth.

Mouthfeel: Fizzy and medium bodied.

Drinkability: Good better than a lot of beers in this class and surprise being that it comes from a winery.

Cloudy yellow. Not much head despite an aggressive pour. Lacing is spotty but not bad. Sediment appears to be present in this brewery's offerings (based so far on two samples).

Smells grainy, almost like a pilsner or malt liquor instead of a wheat or wit. Some citrus aroma, lemons and oranges. Quite average in this department.

Tastes much better than it smells. Lemon and orange flavors dominate, wheaty and grainy flavors fill in the gaps, a bit of malts accent, and a light spiciness makes for a very tasty beer.

Mouthfeel is dry and crisp, not bad, slightly above average.

Easy to drink. For a "wheat" beer it's very drinkable and I'd love to have another. Sessionable as well. Would go great with Mexican food.

On tap at Shamrocks Pub & Grill.

A: Served a slightly hazy light golden color with a small head that faded to some lacing.

S: Aroma of fresh grain and some citrus with a hint of fruity sweetness.

T: Light taste of citrus and a mild sweetness with fresh grain and a hint of spice. Very subtle bitterness and a dry finish.

F: Light body, smooth and refreshing. has a somewhat creamy texture.

O: Nice Witbier. Good for the summer season or even to compliment a meal. Worth a try.

Pours a clear, yellow color. 5/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of wheat, banana, orange peel, and slight yeast characteristic. Fits the style of a Witbier. Mouth feel is smooth and slightly thick with an average carbonation level. Tastes of coriander up front, clove, ginger, yeast cleanliness, and some wheat. Overall, relies too heavily on the spice and fruit. The malt/hop/yeast flavors are lacking, leaving a slightly weak body.

Poured this witbier from a bottle into a pint glass. The Witbier poured a hazy yellowish straw color. It produced a thin white head and it had poor head retention. The aroma of the witbier contained soft wheat, citrus, and some spicy coriander. This beer tasted light in body, somewhat crisp wheat taste. There was an immediate citrus test, some spicy hints of coriander- The finish is dry. Good Session beer, good summer ale. Overall in terms of a Witbier...only average.
