750ml bottle into a small glass. Could not find any freshness dating.

Variable look. Initially crystal clear yellow, cloudier in later pours. Massive bright white head, swarms of carbonation, soapy lacing. Aroma is oddly perfume. Taste is sharp, slightly sweet, very drying, with a pleasant apple note. Lasting dry finish, and this is where the faint spice notes show up. Abv well nigh invisible. Very enjoyable drink, even at 750ml.

Blind-tasted except for beer-name, style, ABV%
L- Pours hazy pale yellow with a fat 7Cm off white creamy looking head. Probably needs a trickle-pour to decant in one go, as the head is very slow to go down.
S- Well I can say what the head smells of! That kind of rustic apple note. I wouldn't expect fruit ester notes in a Wit, but I might in a dubbel/tripel? This is labled a 'dubbel witbier' so QED.
T- Actually I can see how something of a dry rustic apple note comes through in the flavour too. It's subtle though, I get it mid 1st sip, then at the end of the 2nd. By the 3rd it's indistinguishable, but I now note instead some richness in there plus a tiny dry/sour twist right in the finish.
F- The alcohol really doesn't seem to show itself at all, good brewing as it's 7% and I'm not into shouty beers. As some of the fridge-chill comes off, there is a modest richness that rises. Though that is held in check my hops + the sour^ twist.
O- It's very nice, lots of detail, lovely balance. As presented I'd imagine it goes down that well it's sessionable, though 7% is high for such. Overall, very good indeed!

A - Pours a cloudy opaque yellow colour. Large White head reduces quickly
S - Lemon zest and orange peel
T - Spicy notes up front a mellow coriander flavour ensues. Finish is zesty
M - Light to medium body with fullish carbonation
O - Don't go past Hoegaarden as the top wit bier.

Pours a cloudy yellow color with a medium top off white head that dissolves quickly.
Aroma is of wheat malt, orange and lemon peels, banana, corriander and white pepper.
The taste is dry with spicy and fruity notes, allong with some wheat malt notes noticable in the background.. The finish is quite bitter and leaves a long aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is crisp and clean with a high carbonation and a medium body.
An interesting take on a witbier, and it works well. Enjoyable.

Cloudy yellow body, big white head. Wheat, flowers, light lemongrass, coriander and belgian yeast in the nose. Taste is much the same with white pepper and cracker in the mix too. Feel is snappy on the finish with mild yeast and slight grain textures shaping the body beforehand. Good wit. Learned about the man who inspired this one, worth the read

Hazy dark gold with loose white foam. 4
Spiced orange nose. 4
Country white loaf, big blast of pepper + clove, pencil erasers, flowers, and Noble bite to end. 4.25
Lively, slight chew. 4

Wit does well to be doubled - all the flavours with the volume turned up. Classic battle between esters and phenols/adjuncts, with added depth from threads of vanilla. Notably wheaty smooth, too - no hints of burn.

A nice piece of work. 4.25

I've never had an" Imperial Wit" (didn't even know there was such a thing), but I think that perfectly descibes this offering....loved it.

Hazy yellow orange color with a thick head with decent retention that maintains a constant plate.
Wheaty aroma with notes of orange peel, coriander, pineapple, wheat and lemon.
Flavor with notes of candied sugar, orange peel, wheat, coriander, lemon, banana, yeast, white pepper and pineapple core. Dry aftertaste with a mild to medium bitterness;
Medium body with effervescent mouth feeling carbonation. Alcohol of 7% is superbly disguised.
Imperial Witbier with lots of coriander, yeast and orange citrusy. Not really worth the price tag.

Poured from fridge temp. Pours yellow with nice white head. Nose is funk, citrus peel, pine, wheat, and nuts. Taste follows the nose. Fairly mellow taste. Slight bitterness upfront. No sweetness detectable. Pine, earth, tree sap, funk, and mango. Mouthfeel is light and dry. Overall, a fantastic Witbier.
