The beer was good. They brew a range of styles so anyone can find something they like. My great-aunt had the honey raspberry wheat while my great-uncle enjoyed the gold lager and pilsner. I explored the heavier side with the ESB and Ebenezer double stout.

The service was good overall. They were very accommodating of my great-uncle's wheelchair and seated us quickly. We had to wait a short while for a refill but I prefer that to being constantly checked on.

The atmosphere at Upstream is typical of a slightly upscale brewpub - dark wood, plenty of booths, but very clean. There were several families that came in for Sunday dinner while I was there.

The food was good but not outstanding. The appetizers were unimpressive. The burger was good and should have been for the price. The best thing I had there was the gouda soup, delicious.

The prices were a bit higher than I was expecting (there's a reason I left the west coast!) but it seems like they have decent happy hours during weekdays.

Went on 7/12/16 for a early birthday dinner (birthday is 7/16) with the wife and it was her idea to go here. It was a Tuesday night and there was a 30 minute wait but we went to the bar area and found a table. Ordered 4 appetizers and 2 flights of beers which came 4 4-ounce glasses for $6.00. Lots of good brews on tap including some interesting seasonals. Tried their "Blood Orange Wit" which was a fantastic brew that isn't likes on here as of yet. A interesting "Cucumber Belgium" which was tasty also isn't listed on here as well. Overall, the brews was really good as well as the service. Their "Fried Chess Curds" were good with a great dipping sauce BUT there was just a few pieces which consisted on mostly crumbs. Told the waitress that and she really didn't care much and just said: "Well, they weigh them up." Wasn't real happy with that response. The other plates were of decent portions. Overall, I would go back though it would probably be better during a weeknight then the busy weekend. No free parking unless it is after 9 PM as you have to park in the street with a hungry parking meter.

Vibe - MASSIVE old building that is in a great neighborhood. due to the location and size there are a lot of families.
Quality - while the variety is great the beer was okay. nothing mind blowing, but okay.
Service - the place was slammed and the server seemed quite busy.
Selection - lots of IPAs, but a cask and nitro selection as well.
Food - great food options.

Overall I enjoyed the place, but it is a HUGE building with lots of people.
