Located in the historic downtown area of Omaha NE. It would seem to the place to have a brewpub with the local walking traffic and exposed brick buildings. Perfect location to have a pint!

The inside is your normal dark wood and brass with exposed brick and brew kettles highlighted. Nice and clean with a good oval bar that allows for conversation and elbow room.

The food selection and quality was good for a brewpub. I would reccomend the steak, as it is Omaha!

In terms of beer...they have a beer engine with a good selection. The normal IPA, Porter, and light beer are there for uninitiated. However, they do have a rotating beer engine along with some tasty seasonals. I liked the fact that they have lagers AND 750ml of exotic beers like barley wines and Grand Cru's if you are so inclined.

While, I don't think I would make a special visit for Upstream (like I would for Russian River, etc) this is a top 3 place to visit while in Omaha. They have a great location and solid beers. Check em out!

Went on 7/12/16 for a early birthday dinner (birthday is 7/16) with the wife and it was her idea to go here. It was a Tuesday night and there was a 30 minute wait but we went to the bar area and found a table. Ordered 4 appetizers and 2 flights of beers which came 4 4-ounce glasses for $6.00. Lots of good brews on tap including some interesting seasonals. Tried their "Blood Orange Wit" which was a fantastic brew that isn't likes on here as of yet. A interesting "Cucumber Belgium" which was tasty also isn't listed on here as well. Overall, the brews was really good as well as the service. Their "Fried Chess Curds" were good with a great dipping sauce BUT there was just a few pieces which consisted on mostly crumbs. Told the waitress that and she really didn't care much and just said: "Well, they weigh them up." Wasn't real happy with that response. The other plates were of decent portions. Overall, I would go back though it would probably be better during a weeknight then the busy weekend. No free parking unless it is after 9 PM as you have to park in the street with a hungry parking meter.

Vibe - MASSIVE old building that is in a great neighborhood. due to the location and size there are a lot of families.
Quality - while the variety is great the beer was okay. nothing mind blowing, but okay.
Service - the place was slammed and the server seemed quite busy.
Selection - lots of IPAs, but a cask and nitro selection as well.
Food - great food options.

Overall I enjoyed the place, but it is a HUGE building with lots of people.
