Very dark maroon and brown in color. Opaque in appearance. Earthy light cherry taste. A hint of tart on the tip of the tongue. Opening up as it warms.

On tap for Beachwood Sour Fest at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, CA.

Pours a clear super dark crimson-brown with a foamy tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Thick streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour and tart with dark roasted malt, smoke, and band-aid aromas. Taste is much the same with sour smoke and band-aid flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with some interesting sour and smoke aromas and flavors.
