Everyone’s brewing it, so why aren’t you? The Iron Springs triple IPA is wonderful. Big, piney, and delicious. It pours a malty orange amber. Lots of piney aroma with some citrus peel. The flavor is bit and piney with some sticky green characters, and enough malt to balance it out. Smooth and balanced it hides its strength—which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Tasted at the Iron Springs Pub.
Pours a dark tan/amber color.
Smell of pine, resin is immediately evident.
Tastes an explosion of hops, resin, citrus. The hops is more subtle than comparable triple IPAs. Balance is exemplary.
Overall, an excellent effort from Iron Springs. I could drink this every day.

8oz tulip on tap at THG.

A: Clear dark burnt golden with a thin cap of tan foam. A thin collar persisted; wispy lace.
S: Minty and foresty nose with a touch of citrus and sweet fruit juice. Nose is also full of sugary fruit flavor. Potent.
T: Juicy fruit nectar sweetness throughout the flavor a kiss of mint in the finish followed by a tingly fresh citrus and herbal bitterness. Sweetness lingers into the aftertaste. I can't believe how well alcohol is hidden.
M: Thick full body, smooth and creamy carbonation. No trace of alcohol heat, very surprising. Drinks exceptionally well. Slick and fresh hop oil mouthfeel. Potent and strong flavors and body, the practically no alcohol burn.
O: Smooth and dangerous to drink; I could have pints of this. Best triple IPA I've had in recent memory. Extremely quaffable. Drinks like a beer with 4 or 5 percent less alcohol points.
