Poured from a TALLBOY CAN into a Duvel tulip.
A- pours a gorgeous, transparent shade of amber with a huge, three finger offwhite head. The beer looks perfect. I love it
S- nice aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Smells real damn good, though the scent is a little weak
T- it starts off with a nice burst of citric acidity, and the finish is nice and a little bitter. The flavors are really mellow, but they work well together
M- has a decent bit of body to it, not really that watery or syrupy at all.
O- I really like this beer. It's not as powerful as you'd expect from a lot of IPAs, but it's real easy drinking

Used to love these out of the wetherspoons fridges in Nottingham UK, stopped doing it at least 5 years ago. Was always very satisfying balancing resinous and citric hop forward notes with gentle finish and quaffability.

Rating from notes. Consumed January 2013. "Aromatic IPA. Flavour gets a little watery towards the end, but otherwise this is well executed."

I really like this as an example of a lighter IPA--one that I enjoy drinking by itself rather than just with food. It's not quite a session beer, but I can have more than one without feeling either like my mouth is turning to cotton or that I'm about to fall off of my stool.
