Poured a pale orange body with a big, frothy head that left lace down the glass. A strong citric and floral hop smell. An easy to drink IPA that is simple with a mix of light citric hops and some caramel malt to balance with sweetness. Lighter-bodied IPA that passes smoothly but does kick in with a little dry backbite. I'd have another of these although nothing special here.
Had this beer a second time almost five years late in July, 2014 and poured a reddish gold with two finger head and lace ring down glass. Citric hop aroma is prevalent and the beer is smooth, light, easy to drink, balanced with citric hops and touch of grape and caramel sweet malts. Excellent finish that makes this beer a must-have.

Used to love these out of the wetherspoons fridges in Nottingham UK, stopped doing it at least 5 years ago. Was always very satisfying balancing resinous and citric hop forward notes with gentle finish and quaffability.

Rating from notes. Consumed January 2013. "Aromatic IPA. Flavour gets a little watery towards the end, but otherwise this is well executed."

I really like this as an example of a lighter IPA--one that I enjoy drinking by itself rather than just with food. It's not quite a session beer, but I can have more than one without feeling either like my mouth is turning to cotton or that I'm about to fall off of my stool.
