A_hazy pale orange brown with a very frothy white head. Excellent lacing and retention.
S_Mesquite smoke, orange and bit of pine
T_Bready up front followed by a slight sweetness and then an orange cranked hop attack. The finish leaves the palate with a decent amount of smoke. Campfire and barbecue mixed together. Slightly spicy as well
M_Medium body with a nice mellow but present carbonation
O_A smoked beer mixed with a citrus forward balanced IPA. Fairly complex as the smoke, sweetness and bitterness mesh wonderfully. Terrific beer.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – Served a clear orange-amber color with a one finger off white head. The head has a moderate level of retention, fading over time to give a decent level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma was a mix of sweet caramel and a bready aroma mixed with a lighter amount of smoke. Behind all these smells are some quite light notes of a citrus and earthy hop aroma giving a rather smoked but sweet dirty aroma overall.
Taste- The taste begins with a big dose of caramel sweetness mixed with a bready malty taste. Upfront there is a little bit of citrus in the taste mainly of a light grapefruit hop and some orange. As the taste advances more roasted malt flavors start entering the taste. With these flavors comes smoke and burnt flavors with notes of a salty bacon like taste and a light almost pepper flavor hitting the tongue. The citrus hop is then joined by a little bit of an earthy hop in the end leaving a smoky but somewhat hoppy flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer was on the average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the average side as well. Both are rather fitting for the smoky and hopped flavors of the brew balancing the drinkability and allowing all the flavors to be fully sensed by the tongue.
Overall- A nice smoky brew with a nice blend between sweet caramel, smoke/burnt flavors, and hop flavors. Quite tasty overall.

Cloudy amber color. Nice head with sticky lacing on the glass. Smells very smokey with a little citrus hops and sugar sweetness. Strong taste of smoke which merges with the bitter and citrus hops. A little lingering sweetness. Very nice carbonation and clean mouthfeel. Had this at a smoked beer event. The smoke is a little distracting but fades into the hops as time goes by.
