This is my third beer from sixpoint. Last week I had Resin and was a little let down. This one reminds me of Ol' Factory Pils from Two Roads but isn't as tasty. A bit of grain bill coming through and a hint of hops at the end. Crisp and dry finish, but I feel like it just doesn't live up to the other heavy hitters. I will try Bengali next. This one's good but not remarkable.

Poured from a 12oz. slim can into a mug.

A: Pours a lively gold color with a 1 finger head of white foam. The head quickly fades to a thin film on top of the beer. Lots of carbonation bubbles and a good amount of lacing.

S: Aromas of herbal hops and biscuity malts.

T: Flavors of herbal hops with a solid backbone of biscuity malts. Good balance with moderate bitterness.

M: Crisp mouthfeel with a light body and high carbonation. The body is light but doesn't feel thin on the palate.

O: Overall I thought this was a good lager with crisp flavors of herbal hops and a solid malt backbone. It is perfect on a hot summer day and very refreshing. Another great beer from Sixpoint, I will definitely buy this again.

Ok so I got a sixer at a bottle shop and saw the BB date was Sep 15 and also got a fresh sixer from a friend with a BB APR 2016. The fresher beer was fantastic in fact one of the best Pils I have had. The older beer was ok but you could tell not fresh had kinda earthy taste. Good job Sixpoint!
