Great for an IPA. I'm really into the more bitter IPA's w the citrus taste and delicious bitter after taste to take away from having to take a sip every 5 seconds. If you enjoy imperials definitely give Resin a try. First try from Six Point but mos def On Point! Enjoy!

Beatiful orange beer with a white head that dissapears fast.

Nose: Tropical fruits, orange, peach, peach, pine and citrus.
Taste: Grapefruit, citrus, resin and spice.
A full body. A little oily taste. Great!

Best By July 7, 2015 Poured into a Sam Adams glass.

L- Light amber/deep gold, some chill haze, one finger white head.

S- Has a sweet smell of citrus and some stone fruit with a very slight bubble gummy thing, the alcohol is a bit noticeable.

T- Has like a honey sweetness that I wasn't expecting, more stone fruit of unripe nectarine and apricot, grapefruit, not as piney and resiny as expected. Some alcohol but the sweetness is helping to cover it up.

F- Thin syrup, at the lower end of the carbonation for the style.

O- A friend picked this up for me and according to the best by date it is fresh but this must have been stored improperly or something because I'm not tasting big sticky pine notes like many other reviewers are getting. A bit disappointed with this one. It has a sweetness I don't really care for and being called 'RESIN' I was expecting lots of sticky pine but didn't really get that.

I had a Hi Res the other day I can't figure out which one I like more but they were both very good. This one however is more bitter and "resinous" so I would have to say for now I kind of like this one better. But that may change!

Appearance:Golden bronze color. Clear and has a nice soapy head which remains intact throughout the drinking of this one.

Aroma: This one is complex, at first you think it has some piney notes then they give way to more tropical fruits, there is a strong malt backbone on this one that gives it a caramel sweetness to the aroma.

Taste: Not very bitter but more than Hi Res, this one has notes of tropical fruits and some caramel sweetness, it finishes pretty dry but it is sweet. Not cloying by any stretch but it does have some bitter sweet notes going on.

Overall: Well balanced and enjoyable beer.
