Hit this place on my way to East End. Wasn't there to eat or drink, but to grab some bottles to go.

Charming place, crowded with people enjoying dogs and brew. Nice combination IMO :)

Atmosphere was great - found my way to the cave, and found some great beers. Lots of Voodoo (no BBVD or Majik, but that's to be expected). Great Terrapin and Duck Rabbit selection. Also saw some KBS, but, at $10 a bottle, that's absurd.

Got some bombers of Voodoo and some Fantome. Also some Terrapin Monks's Revenge. Very nice young lady rang me up.

Would absolutely stop in again. Great little store, and prices were $1-$2 per single cheaper than Barley & Hops. Plus, it's location 3-4 minutes from East End makes this a place to frequent when making runs to Pittsburgh's best brewery!

Place was sitting on a high pedestal reputation wise. Pretty starndard boring sports bar vibe. Shitty bar chairs. Smelled really good though. Decent selection. Noing rare necessarily. Shitty draft and bottle prices. Nice young ladies down stairs. Surprisingly small draft choicen. Some bottles were old as balls, but a good selection of them either way. May or may not be back.

Cozy spot (was cozier before expansion a few years back, but hard to begrudge a beloved spot some success). Tap selection always top notch, and anything you can imagine in bottles. Food selection is narrow but quality - can't beat a hot Italian with the best fries in Pittsburgh.

I live 4 blocks blocks away and go here CONSTANTLY. Great dogs, pizza and wings in addition to the ridiculous beer selection. Glycol chiller gets your beers out of the cellar and ready-to-drink in a few minutes.

Their single/6 pack selection is known locally as 'the beer cave'. It doesn't live up to its reputation. The selection isn't bad, but it isn't anything special either, bottles are often very old, and prices are insanely high for a create-your-own 6 pack. Now for the restaurant/bar area. They have a tap list that updates pretty frequently, but like many other bars, their draft list cards don't keep up, and many times I have ordered a beer to find that it had been kicked days ago. Also the space is pretty cramped and crowds easily, though they have recently expanded so I have to give them credit there.. The food is awesome and the staff is friendly though. I like D's as a place to go every now and then with some coworkers, but it definitely is not a regular spot of mine.

Food is pretty good but that's the only really redeeming thing about D's. The beer selection isn't nearly as amazing as it's cracked up to be and the prices are insane. Space is very small/cramped and if there's a wait, forget about it.

I have a love and hate relationship with this D's. Its crowded everytime i walk in here, and it being small doesnt help. So i walk back to the "beer cave" to get some space. Iv never been greeted by an employee asking if i need help looking for something, and when i approach one they seem to know nothing about beer. They do have a great selection of beers, some of which are hard to find, but the prices for those beers are laughable. $13 for a 12oz bottle of Wulver!? Every time i buy a six pack its around $25. Most of the time theyre highly rated beers, but they dont need to charge this much to make a solid profit. Ill be making the drive to House of 1000 beers from now on, as they have a better selection, and certain beers are cheaper

Prices to go were so high I laughed myself out of the store. Great selection, though, if you have $33 to spend on BA Narwhal.

This place falsely advertises as a six-pack store when it is not. IT IS A SINGLES STORE!!!!! It's owners are clearly interested in selling single bottles to greedily garnish the markup they can demand on singles. Yes, they have a large selection of beers, but who wants to pay an average of $3.50 per bottle? IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!! One six-pack I had to build of Lagunitas Little Sumpin' cost me more than $2 than I've paid at multiple other locations! IT SHOULD BE $2 LESS AS I HAD TO SUPPLY THE LABOR TO BUILD IT!!! Another six I built cost me over $18 for beers I later found near my town selling for six prices at around $11. The term HIGHWAY ROBBERY clearly fits here as when one travels to far off places one likes to acquire beers not found in his hometown.
