This is your typical dive bar with a bunch of pool tables and other games. Numerous TVS line the walls in this dark establishment that has a small kitchen off the side of the L shaped bar. Music selected by patrons at the jukebox keeps an interesting mix as Slayer was playing when I entered, and a soft rock / pop tune playing when I left.

There were about 10 beers on draft with a decent selection of about 40 different bottles in a glass refridgerator behind the bar. The draft list was not that impressive as they had mostly macros, and I stuck to bottles from local Florida Beer Company. Most folks were drinking macros pitchers of beer with a cup of ice floating.

Service was decent but nothing to rave about either. Typical high Miami prices so no surpise here. Overall if you are looking to play some pool and drink a beer or two, this is your place.

his is a premium spot for beer lovers, billiards players, and thrill seekers alike. LW/KYI are actually TWO bars, Lost Weekend with pool tables and a selection of 95 beers kept cool in a huge display case, and KillYourIdol which specialized in craft beer and great music (sometimes live).

Rogue: Dead Guy, DFH 90, Delerium Trem/Nocto are only SOME of the great beers they have on tap, not to mention the consistently growing number of delicious bottles like Rasputin, Hobgoblin, Magic hat and more.

Another great part about both bars is how different they are from eachother, yet are owned by the same group and consistently updated with great brew. They also have a liquor license in both places so if you want a shot with your beer, have at it!

Tucked on a non-number street in South Beach, this place can be a little hard to find. It is a half block off Collins Ave and just a few blocks south of Lincoln.

The interior of the place and the chalkboard reminded me of dba in New Orleans, but without dba's whiskey selection.. The beer selection at Lost Weekends, about 15 taps, is great for South Beach, not great for say Philadelphia, but you will find more than a couple of interesting beers on tap here. They had a bunch of imports I never heard of before, which I suspect were stuff from a Florida importer that hasn't made its way up north. There were also a bunch of less common domestics.

This is place is true dude bar, good beer, lots of pool tables, lots of other games. This place is a great bar and it happens to be in South Beach, but doesn't really have special South Beach vibe to it, for better or worse. We had a good time there. They have a neat dark balcony thing which might be a good place to share a beer with your sweetheart.
