Nov. 2014: Shared 310 ml bottle at local tasting, thanks to our beerpal Olav. ABV is 7%. Amber colour, moderate to low white (or slightly off-white) head. Aroma of fruity and piney American hops, also some less pleasant notes of dust and stale cocoa. Flavour of piney and grapefruity hops, also unsweetened cocoa / pale chocolate malts.

Brought back by the in-laws.
Pours a nice fluffy bubbly foamy almost 2 finger head that fades fairly quickly at firs then slows to a nice thick head, a little lacing, very clear auburn orange-tan color
Nose nice hop profile, floral and spicy, some herbal tea and earthy forest floor notes, a bit of fruitiness I think also from esters as much as hops, sweet candy malts and caramel.
Taste fairly sweet syrupy, lots of malts, caramel, toffee, reddish biscuity malts, and a sweet molasses like syrupiness that isn't actually molasses though, big hops, herbal tea, earthy, vegetative and leafy, a bit floral, bit of fruit but not much, turns very spicy on the finish, very bitter as the malts attempt to dry but remain a bit sticky, huge spicy bitterness like an old school IPA from 6-7 years ago when they were all about IBUs.
Mouth is med to fuller bod, syrupy sticky, nice carbonation, just a touch of alcohol warmth
Overall not bad for middle of Brazil, surprised they were able to put that many hops in it, although it's def more English style which I prefer a lot less, it's to style other than the overload of syrupy malts. Then again it IS Brazil and they want sweet.

A 600 ml glass bottle, served at 9° C poured into a nonic glass. Veiled copper color with a really good and persistent head. Slightly sweet aroma with a hint of toast grain and floral hop. Taste is a little more stronger and bitter than aroma implies, with a hint of grain and coffee in the malt and spicy hop flavor. Medium-full bodied with a lively carbonation. A little bitter medium long finish.

600ml bottle
appearance: amber, 2 fingers small bubbles head, medium carbonation.
smell: strong caramel malts and hop bitterness. Some herbal presence. A characteristic you usually find in lots of south american (argentinian, brazilian and uruguayan) IPA's. Lacks that piney or fruity punch lots of american IPA's have.
taste: like the aroma, it's more malty forward than hop forward...caramel, balanced sweetness and bitterness.
mouthfeel: this is the best of this beer IMO because although the hop taste it's more bitterness than flavour, it's not too agressive. Carbonation is a bit heavy on the stomach.
overall: good south american IPA.

From bottle dated June 2016. Impressive off white head and clear Amber in color. Smells ok but not much hop on the nose, some hints of Grapefruit. Taste is surprisingly complex. First comes the sweet malt then a nice bitter finish. Lots of herbal characteristics. The sweetness apparently comes from the addition of the sugarcane or Rapadura. Overall a real good take on a English IPA.

This is a very good example of what an IPA must taste like.
