Described as a Cerveja Clara Pilsen on the bottle - a larger, brown 600 mL bottle with what I assume are supposed to be hops on the label illustration. Purchased at a grocery store in Rio de Janeiro.

Apperance is a nice golden color with just a hint of amber. Head was minimal and faded quickly, though.

Smell is of pale malt, honey and a bit of noble hop aroma. The taste is crisp and surprisingly adequately hoppy. Clean finish that's a bit bready.

Carbonation is rather low, making the mouthfeel not as crisp as it should be. Still, a very drinkable beer with some nice flavors.

This beer has a bad apperance - a transparent yellow/ocher color with a foam that is not equally bad.
Smell is bad too. Smells like and adjunct lager with a tone of cassava that ain`t good.
Nevertheless, this beer has a nice taste. Cassava here is enjoyable and there`s some honey tones too.
Mouthfeel is ok - an ok body but weak carbonation.

Finally got around to tasting this beer on my fourth trip to Brazil after ignoring it for all this time. I was just as surprised to see the tiny 310 ml bottles on sale at a gourmet store in Floranópolis. On to the beer:

Golden yellow is the color, and the head on top is fair and fluffy with good retention. There's something sweet in the nose, maybe some honey, maybe a little bread. But I like it. The taste follows suit with the nose, with little flavors of honey, bread, and a soft kick of vague hops.

A bit better that your run of the mill lager beer. It would be a good starting point for somebody who wants to get into craft beer in Brazil.

Pale yellow color. Made one finger head with short duration.
Sweet malt aroma with a hint of herbal hops.
Similarly taste of sweet malt with some biscuit, probably the yucca. Very mild bitterness. Aftertaste is no different.
Light body with strong carbonation and medium size bubbles.
Good balance and very refreshing. Interest choice of hops that made it fresh and crispy throughout the entire experience.

600ml bottled served in a pokal glass.

A: Pours a golden yellow clear color forming a medium aired bubbled white head. Few lacings left

S: Sweet grains followed by citrus flowery hops. Czech Pilsener style in the nose

T: Follows the nose, sweet grains and citrus Saaz hops. As the majority of the Brazilian "Pilsener-based" Lagers, I suppose that it follows the German Pilsener formula. However, the Czech hops turns it into the Czech Pilsener direction. Bitterness is quite noticeable and pleasant

M: Light body and medium carbonation. Good bitter Saaz aftertaste

O: Very drinkable. However, a traditional Pilsener and not an Euro Lager, as suggested here. Interestingly, this beer seems to be tempered with manioc root as sweetener component. Honestly, I could not notice any presence of that... :)
