Deep gold clear little head. Rich malt loads of sappy hops and almost a pilsnery malt presence. Active carbonation. And a dry, earthy finish. Like an IIPA had a baby with a big pils.
Malt is rich to the point of being a bit sticky, but otherwise solid.

Sweet aftertaste. Malty aroma, nothing more. But still has considerable bitterness and interesting caramel notes after some sips.

20 oz bottle from The Good Beer Store, Fryeburg ME. Pours a nice clear dark amber color with a big lacy head that stick around a while. Toffee and a little grassiness in the nose. Taste starts with lots of sweet malty toffee notes, then some citrus and pine, then the alcohol. Mouthfeel is heavy and smooth. I really like the balance of this beer, I can see where others would want more hoppiness.

Well balanced dipa. Pretty malty and sweet at first then the hops kick in mid palate. Nice hoppy finish. Caramel, brown sugar, orange and citrus with a light pine flavor dominate the flavor profile. Body is medium and smooth. Good overall but likely not to purchase again at 9$ for a 20oz bottle.

Reminds me strikingly like the Black IPA from Garrison Brewery in Nova Scotia

No real aroma. "Soft," sweet mouthfeel.

Appearance: A 1” thick mousy, lacy white head floats on a hazy amber column. Smell: Malt and sugars behind a big whiff of fresh mown hay. Taste: Rich sugary malt lavors followed by a rich hop finish. The hop bitterness gradually arises There is a touch of pepper on the end Mouthfeel: The texture is really creamy smooth and really makes this beer. It has high medium carbonation, medium body.
