I was torn on this one. Drink it from the can, as it was meant to be drank, or pour into a glass. Well, I went with a glass. Old habits die hard....

Pours a golden copper color with half an inch of off-white head. Nice lacing clings to the glass.

The aroma, even after it warms, doesn't give me anything but grapefruit and tangerine hops. The scent, while very nice for an IPA, just seems muted. I guess I just want it more in my face and not so much like a sachet of hops thrown in a drawer. Make sense?

The flavor is more in my face...and I like it! I wish I could give this one a 4.25 cuz that is where I feel it belongs. Nice and bitter hops come out in a wide range of citrus flavors. It's pretty damn bitter, but that is why I like it. A bit earthy at the end. Also had a taste of powdered aspirin right at the finish. The finish keeps it from getting to that 4.5 for me.

Medium bodied. Average carbonation. Bitter, drying aftertaste screams for you to take another sip and I'll gladly oblige. Another canned beer worthy of any tailgating, camping, golfing, outdoor event of your choosing where bottles are frowned upon. I think I found another can to sit along side Dale's and Gordon in the beer fridge.

Clear deep amber appearance with a large, off white head and good lacing. Spicy, citrusy hop aroma with some floral notes buried beneath the surface. Taste is dominated by the citrus hops but partners well with the earthy malts to add good depth and balance. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering finish.

I like the mouth feel of this full tasting IPA beer and a nice pleasant after taste. It is a very popular IPA if not the most popular from this small brewer in the very southern most part of Oregon. Ashland.

Nicely produced can be found in cans at the brewer or at stores locally.

This was a very good all-round IPA. I was surprised.

Thin head, but very nice golden amber color. The aroma has a faint malty smell. The full flavor is nice, but I could do without the malty finish. However, overall a solid IPA.

A: Poured a nice hazy light amber. Almost a pinkish tint. Good retention and sticky lacing.

S: Barley, caramel. Some pine, but otherwise not too much hoppy smell. Curious for an IPA

T: Some very definite hop notes throughout. There's something there that's muting that flavor, though I can't quite pick out what that is. Possibly some barley maltiness.

O: Pretty one note and not great in any facet. My review differs from many of the other reviewers so maybe I got a bad can.

Copper filtered, with a moderate amount of champagne like carbonation, and a half finger of off white head.

Smells very Malt forward, with hints of black tea and stone fruit.

The taste follows the nose to a T. It ends with a dull, lingering bitterness. Light body, with moderate carbonation.

I got this in Medford Oregon today, and I’m drinking it in Redding California today December 9, 2018.

Pours a light amber. Lots of piney sap and some candied citrus. Sticky sweet caramel malt with a hop residue. Overall run of the mill--not too exciting, not terrible.
