Poured 12 oz can into standard pint glass. This beer is very clear, and is amber/orange in color. A beautiful, foamy head with substantial lacing. The aroma is toasted malt, licorice, orange, and grain. The flavor is malty up front with some hops bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is on the watery side, but it's clean and the bitterness is not too intense. The malt balances the hops well and make this an excellent IPA.

Pours clear, copper in color, with one inch head and high carbonation. Taste is pine resin, toffee, light citrus, and some toasted malt. This beer makes for a bitter above average sipper. Tasty, but there are others I prefer in the style. Unsure if I would pick this up again.

Looks clear orange with a big white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Smells like orange, grapefruit, pine and sweet malt. Light to medium mouthfeel. The taste is massive citrus and pine with a decent malt sweetness. Good solid beer.

MEH. Didn't really get any hops on this. Near the end of its shelf life, so that's probably why. I hate that I'm becoming a date snob, but it does make a difference.

Poured from a can. It is attractive, with a clear amber body, and a frothy head that leaves nice fat lacing. Smell is good for a brew cold out of the fridge. Bready, slight spruce. Wow!!! Flavor is fantastic!!! Bitter, citrusy, piney, malty...a perfect blend! Mouth feel is also right on. Overall I put this in the top West coast IPA's that I've had. Impressive. "May I please have another!?!"

Smell grapefruit orange peel hops piney nose.
Taste mild hoppy flavor slightly floral fairly juicy not super hoppy I was a little disappointed wanted a little more hops
Feel smooth light bodied IPA little twang from the hops on the backend
Overall a decent beer i would have again.

Time to bleed this brew. Canned on 7/8/15.

Look is nice, with a honey colored body; 80% opaque. Head is large and in charge, popcorn colored and 4 fingers leaving tons of lace to gawk at. Wouldn't change much here.

Um, tons of armpit and onion in the aroma, with a faint hiss of grapefruit/pineapple. A little bit of lemon/citrus too, can't quite put my finger on it, but imagination must be utilized in order to get past the initial stanky vagina of death smell. A touch of potato, a touch of biscuit malt.

Taste is pretty damn solid, albeit a sipper; with a great hop-forward flavor but more juicy than bitter; the entire essence of the hop is used, not just as a bittering agent. A strong amount of lemon, with a bit of buttery cracker, biscuit malt, and a touch of adhesive.

The feel is easily the best part. It's cohesive, concentrated, and substantial. Creamy, dense, thick. It fills the mouth but doesn't overwhelm it. Great carbonation, great feel.

Overall this is an IPA I'd recommend all the time if it were available in the area. It's hop forward but not too bitter, and utilizes all of the positives of the IPA style. Great job, Caldera!
